What I liked about him is he really works with you. He had weekly meetings with us to chart the progress of what is going on. He was very straightforward with us about what was going on. We have an older house so, there were surprises, like for example, we did not know our roof was not insulated. So, when he got to the roof, there were three layers of old roof and that was when we discovered it had never been insulated. He was redesigning our roof because it did not slump enough for water to drain off of it, so water would puddle on it. We had to add insulation to the roof when we found out there was not any. It ended up being one and half times, of what he estimated. One of the issues we had, they thought they had tarped it well enough and it rained, came through the ceiling in our room and ruined the entire ceiling. He thought we had insurance for it and we lost the ceiling and carpet in our bedroom. He got us a carpet allowance and we had to re-paint our ceiling and walls as well. He was very good about that. I cannot say enough nice things about he handled it. Overall, he was very easy to work with and he kept us up to date on what is going on. If something goes wrong, he handles it with a very high, ethical standard. About 18 months later, a bad hailstorm came through, and we had to have him do our roof again and we have not had a problem in 12 years.

This project went extremely well. Especially since we were out of state the entire time and Gary mostly worked on his own. Gary was recommened by the water mitigation company. Gary came out the next day, on the weekend, got me the bid in a timely basis, and even managed access to our home for his crew and the water mitigation company since we were not there. Once we agreed on the price we also agreed on a completion date, which was a couple of weeks before we returned for the winter. I could not have imagined this project going any better, even if we had been here the entire time. Gary was professional and timely and his work was excellent, complete, and exactly as we agreed. I would recommend his company for any construction project under consideration. I will definitely use him again.

We had a horrible time with a different conractor (to remain nameless) and we found Gary Flint through a loan officer we knew. He had done some work for her and we talked to him and he seemed very helpful. Mr Flint gave us reasonable quotes and (most important to me) he listened to me. We ran into many problems - our house is old and needed a lot of help- Gary still was able to come in on budget and on time for every aspect of the proect. I would recommend Flint Estate builders to anyone!!
