I started with this Firestone a few months back when they had an excellent price on tires for my Land Rover. Since then I've had my A/C serviced, some brake work and an alignment done.
These guys are fair and honest and do a great job. They are very professional and do all of the work at a fair price.
The store is clean and comfortable with a nice waiting area if you need to wait on the work being done. There is also a small kitchen area with free coffee and bottled water. They are in the HEB shopping center, so there is also a couple of places to eat and shop if you prefer. While sitting there waiting on my truck, I saw them handle several customers in a professional and courteous manner, many times going the extra mile to accommodate the customer's schedule and needs.
I was getting my truck washed the other day and a gentleman started up a conversation with me. He asked me about the cost of maintaining my truck, He then stated that I should give the Firestone in Oak Hill a try. That happens to be the same Firestone I patronize. He, too, had nothing but good words for these guys.
This Firestone is now my "go to" place for all things maintenance on my truck.

Firestone is a great neighborhood auto service repair provider. They team is friendly and they know what they're doing. They did what they said they would do when they said they would do it!

I needed to have a trailer tire replaced on a Sunday. Most places that were closer to me were closed, so I called and got a quote. The person I spoke with was courteous and said that he had the tire in stock and could install the tire in 10 minutes. When I got there he said it would take about 15 to 20 minutes...not such a big deal. I waited about 30 minutes, after which I asked them the status. As it turned out the tire was ready and nobody had told me. Well, ok, that isn't great customer service, but they promptly checked me out and i was on my way so it was still pretty painless.

I dropped the tire off fairly early in the day and was to be called when done. No call by 30 min before closing so I called and the manager said the tire had been repaired. It was now approx 6:30pm, after dark. I picked up the tire by closing. The next morning when I went to install the tire on the vehicle it appeared like nothing had been done. The tire pressure was low and there were no signs of repair. I took the tire back to the shop and demanded that the tire be fixed asap and my original $25 be refunded. The service manager apologized and agreed to the repair. I have only used this shop for minor work before, oil change and inspection. Each time the service was friendly but completed only near closing time and the shop seemed overly committed and the managers complaining of employees having quit or not showing up. I would rate the service lowered but the manager did fix the tire for free, the 2nd time.

My experience went real well overall. I have been using them for probably about three years. Sometimes I have to question them because I know a lot about my car. I think that's why I get better service. If I didn't know a lot about my car and I keep all my receipts and I know everything that's been done on it, I may have gotten some work done that I didn't need. I like the way they greet you right away when you walk in. They always keep me up to date with what's going on with my car. They keep me well informed. I usually wait for my car and they give me a time and usually its right about that same time whether it's going to be an hour or two hours or close to that time. I really don't have much to compare their prices except with the dealership. They are good about responsiveness. I would use them again in the future. In fact, I have got to go back to them to get oil and filter change.

Things couldn't have gone better. I had a "blowout" within sight of the facility. They were prompt, professional, and courteous.

Easy. no problems

It seems that I may have paid a little too much for the amount of work that was done. I think it is an easy job. They were very professional and nice to me. I think they did a fairly good quality job on my car and I will continue to use them in the future.

Car had to be left which is always the case with Firestone. Front brakes were replaced and everything seemed fine for a few months, then when braking the car would shake. Took is back, car had to be left again and they sorted it under warranty.
