Not sure where to start, 'cuz it's a fairly long story. ;-and gt; Ed's done several projects for us over the years, including remodeling our kitchen and bath, helping us build out our breezeway, building a cute little custom chicken shed that everyone comments on. He's bright, very handy with most things, very personable, fair minded, and trustworthy. Would use him again, as well as have him and his family over for dinner! ;-and gt;

Ed was very prompt when I emailed for the estimate of the concrete slab. He also included a professional estimate form via email. Out of five concrete workers that I contacted through Angie's list via email, only two responded to my email inquiry. The other response gave a bid of $1280. I scheduled for Ed to come to the house for a formal estimate and, after looking at the area, he agreed to the original estimate of $395. We then scheduled for him to come out and do the actual work. Due to unforeseen circumstances, he could not come out as originally scheduled, but was very good about letting me know and then rescheduling. The day he came out to do the work, he contacted me by phone when he thought that there may be a concern with the size of the slab for the shed. He offered a solution and completed the job. The job was done professionally, there was no mess left behind, and he stayed with the original estimated cost.

Being pleased with his work, my husband then contacted him to inquiry if he would be interested in assembling the shed, rerouting a dryer vent through an exterior brick wall, and securing a water softener to a wall. He gave gave a very reasonable estimate and, again, we were very pleased with his professionalism and the finished product. We would definitely hire him in the furutre and recommend him to others.

The owner is the primary worker on all projects. Communicates well, completes job in reasonable time, and is very skilled in a variety of areas. Trustworthy. Followed thru on all requests. Coordinated with other contractors. Excellent for general repairs, re-models and small new construction.

Ed was great to work with, gave free estimates and was willing to explain in detail how I should do some other various projects that he wasn't necessarily working on. Got work done on time, very contentious about protecting and keeping things as clean as possible, and work looks great and is solid. He's definitely on my short list for people to call for future work.

We asked for a pergola with clean lines and an asian feel. Ed listened, presented a drawing and got started a week later. The job was completed in 6 days, one day later than planned due to rain. They were organized and left the yard clean and free of debris. Ed and his helper were very friendly and professional, we hardly knew they were there. They worked non stop when they were here and took their work seriously. As a result we have a HUGE, sturdy pergola that we will enjoy for years to come. Excellent craftsmanship. Thank you!

Great! I had the shed work done first and was so pleased with it that I moved ahead with house exterior project a month or two later. Ed worked with my financial schedule (getting bonus at certain time). He and his assistant, Emit, are both great. Ed did detailed walkthroughs with me before, including processing options in terms of paint colors/locations (turning 1970s three-tone color scheme into normal house with trim color....and making changes when I reconsidered). They did a thorough job of prepping the house, painting, touching up and touching up until it was perfect. They were always very professional and kept me up to date on when things would be done, if/why there were delays, etc. Best of all, they made friends with my very sensitive and skittish dog.
