I always like to take my car to a mechanic before I buy it to make sure I know what troubles I am getting in to.  The first car I brought (a PT Cruiser) the fella stopped the inspection half way for there were too many issues with the car and he strong discouraged me from buying it!  A few weeks later I brought in a Toyota Solara.  He detailed the two issues with my car (the missing belly pins and the timing belt needing to be changed) out in writing so I could take it back to the owner to dicker with them!  Fabulous people and great work!

They sent their preferred towing company to pick up my truck after AAA failed to show! They go above and beyond!

I have always made sure that before each and every car I buy it gets a clean bill of health from my mechanic.  I had the most wonderful experience this spring with Excalibur.  I brought in my car for a check up.  I sat nervously waiting by the phone to see if I had a winner.  (A few months before I was waived off a PT Cruiser I was interested in buying because this shop told my it had to many problems and recommend I did not buy the car.).  When the inspection was complete I was called to come down to the shop.  The mechanic had left my solara on the lift to show me each and everything he could find wrong, such as the missing belly pins and the unchanged timing belt.  He even wrote me up multiple estimate for me to show the dealership as a bargaining tool.  The professionalism is amazing and I have recommend them to everyone. They even have an AAA discount which is nice!

They are fantastic. I have used them few times before as well. They are very honest, good prices and excellent service. I would continue to use them in the future.

After much research, I found Excalibur would be the best choice.  I dealt with the owner.  He explained very thoroughly what the problem was and provided me with a couple of options.  There was no pressure sales. I felt very confident with the services to be performed.  We scheduled an appointment and everything from the completion time to the cost was exact!  On top of that, they have provided me with an excellent warranty and additional services that other shops have never offered.  I've found someone dependable, honest and trustworthy!  I won't have to shop around anymore. Very professional and friendly!  We have been using them for about 10 years for our personal vehicles and business trucks.  They don't do repairs that don't need to be fixed and then they always call for your ok before they fix anything.  Good free coffee!

When they did the work, we weren’t too pleased with it. They were supposed to check the brakes also when they did the work. We assumed they had, but we had to take the car back for another repair and they checked the brakes then. We had to end up spending more money and it just wasn’t good at all. The service people were nice, but we ended up having additional work. We won’t go back there again because we were not satisfied.

I have used them 2 or 3 times. They are very nice, honest people. They give you a list of suggestions of things that need to be done with their priorities so that you know when they need to be done where you don’t have to do them all at once. Their costs are very reasonable. I have no problems with them at all.  I am very happy with them.

They did a very good job. They have always been very honest. They are a little pricy, but you get what you pay for.

I liked them a lot! They were recommended to me and I was not disappointed. They were very realistic, thoughtful and gave me straight information. On the things they couldn’t do, they recommended me to someone who could do them. They explained everything more diligently to me than other companies had. Nothing that they have fixed has gone wrong again. I thought their costs were reasonable. They even remembered how I mentioned I may be shopping for a car and months later, they sent me information on a car that was for sale. It was an extremely positive experience.

I took the car to Excalibur because of the burning smell and the car was making noises and shuttering when turning into a parking space. After the technician looked over at the car, they explained to me the problems they found and what the expense would be as well as the anticipated length of repair time. They have a waiting room with a television as well as a computer for customers so I stayed at the shop while the repairs were being made.  It took several hours which I was aware of.
The car was clean when I drove off - no greasy hand prints on the door or dirt/trash on the floorboard.
