Another company who do not have the time or courtesy to respond to email, voicemail etc. One would think in these times companies like this would actually be happy to find projects, But now glad I have not to deal this them - cannot imagine working with them. Sounds like amateurs

"My sincere apologies, company is under new ownership and management. Unfortunately we did not have complete control of all the companies profiles in regards to it's internet platforms. Please call me directly and I will provide you a free consultation /proposal and build your project at companies cost. Please give myself and my team to the chance to right this wrong and build your project. Best, Vincent M 512.636.4567"

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!! Could NOT get a response from the owner, Juan, because his voice mailbox was always full, and got no reply to email or text msg unless he wanted money, then he would call or email me. I never got a schedule or real contract. I continually asked to see a sample of my custom cabinets for over a month and NEVER got to see one. His proposal/non-contract said: and quot;Total payment due at completion of service.and quot; yet on day one, he wanted a down payment which I provided and then he also asked for 1/2 the cabinet payment to buy materials which I provided. Total amount paid up front was over $6,100 and he kept asking for another draw which I wouldn't give because I was suspicious that he wouldn't show me the cabinets and was having to fix mess-ups myself. He lied to me and said the cabinet guy wasn't available to show me. I found out tonight that he had put in a stop order to the cabinet guy and didn't even have any cabinets to show me. After much heated discussion with him, he called the job off saying it was because I wouldn't pay him. Most of the jobs he did send subs over to do, were done incorrectly or poorly and I had to fix them myself or fight with him to get them corrected. They installed a window and used a rock to secure it rather than a screw and it was so crooked, it wouldn't even lock. The box-out framing for my fridge was a joke and they tried to justify it instead of doing it per the plan. They broke my water shutoff to the washer and nearly flooded my house, then he tried to charge me extra to reconnect the washer even though the drain hose was hanging outside the drain, the two water connections weren't reconnected and it wasn't even plugged in. He argued about the scope of framing and drywall he had to do even though we discussed everything in great detail and he quoted a fair price up front, but he kept trying to add more money. I thought he would be good because he was recommended by another remodeler, but I should have known better when I didn't hear from him right away after our initial meeting. I kept having to push to get the quote, the start date, etc. I would NOT use him again and I feel sorry for anyone that gets involved with this company. I've been without a kitchen for two months and now I'm at a standstill because I don't know what to expect. He was very rude and disrespectful to me (a woman) and now he's being vindictive. I tried to contact the cabinet guy to get the cabinets, but Juan had obviously threatened him and he was afraid to work with me.

First, I want to say that I am very happy with the final product but did not care for the way this contractor worked. He was not good about showing when he committed. He never stayed on the job but dropped off his workers and was off on his way to another job. Only one of his workers spoke English and I felt like I had to be there every minute they were there to make sure they did the job I wanted. Communication was difficult at best. The workers were less than careful in my home and broke a number of items near my front door. They washed their painting supplies on my front lawn and it took the grass almost a year to recover where they ruined it. Someone backed over my mail box and when I called it to the contractor's attention, he replaced it but I had to buy the materials because he said it was and quot;old and unstable anyway.and quot;
This was my first experience with a contractor for such a large remodeling task and I didn't really know what to expect. Now that I have had a few more experiences with other contractors, I know this is not professional conduct. I love my bathroom, but I would not use this contractor again.
I was also very disappointed in the final cost of this job which far exceeded the original estimate. With every little change, an additional charge appeared to the point that I felt like the nickel and dime costs ended up almost doubling the original estimate. It took them about three months to complete a job that should have taken a month at the most. The hassle was definitely not worth it!

The water damage from the second floor to the first floor needed to be fixed, so first, Escobar Construction placed a hole in my first floor's ceiling so that the wetness could dry out. About a week later, and after making sure that no mold had occurred, Escobar's team complete the project and made sure that the ceiling matched the rest of the home's ceiling. I would recommend this company any time.

They poured cement, reframed one wall and took all the windows out and they were okay. The price was the best. Most of it was good. I will use them again if needed.

The overall completed job is great. The contractor's subs were only of the highest quality, although there were several issues with punctuality and missed appointments. I travel extensively making appointment times and dates very critical. Overall, the company worked with me to make it a success.

There were some finishing issues which were frustrating, including a poor caulk job around the desktop/wall. The end solution was a small piece of wood trim, although the contractor attempted to charge me extra for this. (It was removed from my bill after pointing out the mess of the caulk it was hiding.)

Overall - I would do business with this company again. They were a little hard to get a hold of at times - and the punctuality issues were frustrating, but I felt the work was of the best quality, the prices were fair, and the job was finished to my satisfaction.

Good choice!

They were very professional, they came out very quickly and their estimate was very good. We had several quotes but theirs was very detailed as to what exactly they would be doing so we are clear. The other estimates were questionable. Their estimate was not the highest but it was not the lowest. Their estimate was what we were expecting it to be. I would consider them to provide an estimate in the future.

They are very good but expensive. Anytime we work with them it is usually going to be over $4,000. They are professional and friendly. They have the same workers so they are consistent with their employees, which we like. The only problem is the price. The price is usually way out of reach. We can't use them as much as we would like. They are so much in demand. They are great people just too expensive.

They just finished off the interior project with my living room, dining room, and 2 halls in October and the exterior project was finished about 2 weeks ago. It is fantastic. That was the first time I used them. I had been working with a small design firm and they recommended Escobar. They have handled all the workmen on the projects and I have been very pleased. They are fantastic. I have not one single complaint. They showed up as promised. The estimates that they provided and the proposal were detailed. I knew everything that was going to happen. Their work was superb. Always with a project of this size after the first go-round, there may a few things that need to be fixed. They were fixed without any questions. The final price was for the 2 projects together. They are really great. I think they charge a fair price for the work, but you could get it done for a little bit less. I will use them in the future if needed as will all my friends who have seen the work.

Mr. Escobar spent a good while understanding what I was trying to accomplish, and developed a custom solution for the patio. He also offered some useful analysis on some smaller rehab issues. We ended up going with a different approach for shading the patio (trees and vines). I would certainly want to get a bid from him if we have an appropriate project in the future.

It went perfectly. Mr. Escobar arived on time with his crew and completed the job in a matter of hours. In the end the vent he installed is much better than the downdraft would have been. We were pleased with his work and would hire again.

We loved working with Escobar Construction. Juan did a great job on our new cedar fence. The attention to detail and the speed in which they completed our project made working with Escobar a pleasure. The ipe deck that Juan also built for use was wonderful. Juan is always polite and punctual. He was always available to us if we had questions. We have started using Escobar Construction to take care of all our rental houses. Whenever there is an emergency at one of the houses, Juan has always be available and makes things happen fast. He makes us look like super stars to our tenants.

This company performed work that was incomplete ("Oh, you wanted a switch to turn on that disposal?", "You never said you wanted that rotten wood replaced!"). Newly installed dishwasher doesn't work (installation problem)in addition to plumbing leaks. They practically ruined the carpet in our rent house. The finish out work on the tile is rough and messy. Tile laid in bathroom vanity had to be re-done (at least they did re-lay it), light fixtures were installed too high, no sealer around new and re-installed sinks. Wouldn't haul off the old dishwasher because he had to pay too much to dispose of it. Things that were not right-outright mistakes and obvious oversights were always additional money with the exception of 3 of the plumbing mistakes which I insisted they fix before I paid them. They did not ahere to any time line.
