Einstein Moving Company

I have used Einstein Moving Company three times and this most recent time was the worst experience anyone could go through. I was first quoted just over $700 to move my two bedroom apartment to a two bedroom house. I was moving from a second floor apartment to a house with easy access. Granted, I have a family of three so there was a decent amount of boxes (approx 30 boxes) and furniture to move (2 beds, a couch set, entertainment center, etc). My biggest concern has always been moving the 80" Sharp TV I have. The movers were moving everything so well that I really felt like I had nothing to worry about. They were taking longer than the previous times they've moved me, but I was just assuming this was a lot for two men to move within 4 hours. I was anticipating 5.5 hours, however they took 6 hours. That's fine. Let's move on to the reason you're reading this review. I watched the movers damage a wall in my home. I witnessed the movers drop my Polk Audio home theater speakers. They told me not to worry because they would cover everything. All I had to do is submit a claim. Sounds super easy..... Then they left. I began looking at all of my items to see if anything else was damaged. Oddly enough, they did not show me any of my TV's or plug them in to confirm they worked after moving them. Then I found a huge hole in the screen of my 80" Sharp TV. I promptly submitted the claim, provided all the information they needed on my 10 year old 80" TV because all I wanted was for my items to be replaced. After they reviewed my claim, I was told that all they could offer me was a 70" TV made my Hisense (a budget brand). I asked how they consider that a fair replacement and they said that was because my TV was old and because 80" TV's are no longer produced, they only make larger than 80" TV's now. They also damaged my daughters dresser, which was on the claim. They were offering me $60 to replace her dresser or if I take the dresser off the claim, they would offer me an 85" Hisense TV (budget brand). They said this is the best offer they can give me, and offered me $800 via check. When asked again how they consider this making up for a terrible experience of having multiple items broken as well as a wall in my brand new home, they said they are only obligated to replace $0.60 per pound, as required by state law. I wanted the company that I have used three times now to take care of me in the way that is only right. They offer up to $2,000.00 in the claim, but they will nickel and dime you like any insurance policy does when you submit a claim (Shoutout Stephanie in the claims department!). I ended up paying way more to replace my TV than what they sent me via check in the mail. Einstein did call me and offer me $300 off what I paid for my move that day, but that was not in lieu of the TV. That was because they felt that my move could have been done in less than 6 hours. Ultimately, if you are looking for a great moving service, I'd look at any other moving company. If you have expensive TV's or items you do not want damaged, I would strongly suggest you don't have Einstein's move it for you. Einstein had the choice to do what's right for their customer or do what's right for their pockets, and like any bad business, they chose themselves. (I know, I hate the red colored walls too ?)

We got quotes from several highly rated moving companies to move our daughter and son-in-law into there very first house. The communication from Einstein Moving was superb! The quote was crystal clear. Moving day went perfectly! We even added a stop to pick up some things at our house before heading to their apartment to load up. Matt and Joel were awesome! Very professional, friendly, and efficient! I can not recommend them highly enough! Is there an eight star scale?

Edward and Garrison were AMAZING. Really nice guys that actually engaged in conversation and were super chill. They also handled our stuff so carefully and took extra care with our collectable stuff. Husband and I have hired our fair share of movers for everything from international moves with full packing service to just helping us move some furniture. We had Einstein unload our storage unit of boxes and some furniture back to our house and everything was treated with such care. Can not recommend Einstein enough! Ask for Garrison and Edward! (also, they seriously deserve raises. Nicest, most personable, and most skilled movers I've ever worked with!) This is the TRUE definition of high quality moving service :D

I've moved a lot, across the US, and Einstein is by far the best moving company I've hired. I can't tell you how impressed I was. Communication was perfect. They were very flexible - they had no issue with me changing my date a few times. The best part though was the actual movers - prompt, careful, considerate, fast, experts at navigating furniture through difficult spaces, and all around good guys. They really went above and beyond - don't hesitate to book these guys! Thank you for the perfect move.

We used Einstein Moving Company for our recent move across town and they did an amazing job! Our movers Prince and Reid were super friendly and extremely efficient in packing and moving all of the things from our apartment to our house. We chose a cold, rainy day to move but they were diligent about wrapping items prone to water damage thoroughly and making sure they were not damaged in transit. They let us know our options a few different times and let us know when they thought something would take longer than expected and how that would affect our final time allocation so we could make the decision that was right for us. Overall we were super impressed by their professionalism, speed, and care they took when transporting our belongings. We won’t be moving for a while hopefully but, when we do, we will definitely be using Einstein.

EXCELLENT!!! No doubt Einstein Moving Co is the best! I don't know who does their hiring, but the men they hire is respectful, professional, fun, work well as a team, and the list goes on. They take care of your belongings! Everything is wrapped and protected...nothing was broken, no damage to the walls...great bunch of guys who take pride in their work. I definitely recommend them....again and again and again!!

We have used Einstein's Moving three times in the past 18 months. Every time has been exceptional. They have superb communication, always on time, and work like the dickens, all the while being extremely careful and considerate of our belongings. They have even moved a piano for us! We would never consider anyone else. Look no further than Einstein's, you've found the best!

Drivers were early. Very professional and wrapped all my delicate furniture in moving blankets and stretch wrap. They were very careful when moving everything. Good attitudes as well. This was my second time using Einstein and I will use them again. Thanks to Joel and Tyler. Excellent guys!

Stellar service! Everything about dealing with Einstein was easy. All their promises were kept from contacting me days before my move to introduce me to my movers Andrew and Lunden, to them arriving on time. They were super polite, kept masks on, hustled, and treated my things like they were their own, and zero damage. I had two pieces of art work, one worth $5,000 and one worth $12,000 and they took extra great care of those items. It took longer than what their quote estimate reflected, but I was prepared for that and budgeted for it. With my previous back surgery, I needed pro’s like this to do the job. They even placed my furniture in my new apartment where I requested, which contributed to me going over but I was okay with it and needed them to do it. I will definitely use them again, and you should too!!

They were really good, on time and no damage.

They were very responsive and return my calls even though they were booked for the time period that I needed them. By contacting them at the last minute like a week before was not good planning on my part. I do believe I would have use them as my moving company had they had availability.

We were *very* pleased with Einstein movers of North Austin in our recent cross-town move. From the initial contact, thru the quote process with Brent, to the move itself, the management & movers were all friendly, polite & respectful, easy to understand, transparent, and exceeded their promises. Their sometimes hilarious emails kept us completely informed prior to moving day. Our movers were Kyle K., Michael L., Dustin S., and Dylan R. -- it was great that their pictures and bios were shared with us before moving day. All four were fun-loving, yet extremely hard-working guys. The move took all day, yet we seriously never saw any of them take a break. We loved their positive attitudes, too -- there was no grumbling or complaining to us or amongst themselves, as far as we could see. They even kept us entertained with baby-boomer-friendly music and their fun personalities. They wrapped the furniture really well and handled everything carefully. Overall, the move went quite smoothly and took less time than anticipated. When Brent gave us the final quote, I was a bit worried because he had added a second truck and another mover, but it turns out that was wise, because having two trucks made the move much more efficient & quicker (due to us having two pick-up locations -- our house and a storage unit), and thus actually saved us money. In the end, there was no drama and the price came in quite a bit below the estimate. We heartily recommend Einstein North Austin and would use them again without hesitation.

Josh and his crew of 4 helped us with a move of the contents of a 3300 square foot residence, Austin to Austin. One and a half days of packing up everything and moving. Everyone was super-reliable, careful, conscientious, helpful and pleasant; things could not have gone more smoothly and there was no damage and no mishaps whatever. Rates were carefully explained and while I have no idea how they compare with other companies they seemed reasonable to me. Having heard so many horror stories about local movers, it is clear that this is the only sensible choice.

Chad and Adam were fantastic! I moved from a third floor apartment to a house - not an easy job; however, the guys made it look effortless. They worked quickly and carefully delivered all of my belongings to my new home in perfect condition. Everything about the move was great: Pre-move communication, notification that the team was en route to my home, and most importantly, friendly and professional movers. I highly recommend Einstein Movers and will most definitely use them the next time I move.

In both cases, my experience was excellent. The 2 guys that came over each time were very professional, they explained everything well, and were done under the time initially projected. They did not do any packing for me, they only moved boxes and furniture but everything was handled carefully, with no breaks. I'll definitely use Einstein again for my next move and would recommend them to you as well.

I was very impressed by the professionalism, speed and qualify of the move that was provided by Einstein's. This was the first time I've hired a moving company and I was a little worried I'd picked wrong. Since there are so many options and you can only do so much research and ask so many questions. I picked Einstein's due to the reviews I read and I'm so glad I went with them. I was most impressed by how much care they took to not damage anything.

Great company! They communicated well and all their emails were really cute and fun. They were on time, did a great and fast job, had no hidden fees and did everything that was asked. Had a fridge that was too big to get in the door and they removed my door and the fridge doors quickly and carefully. They kept me posted on where we were in regards to time and let me know once we were done that they had 10 more minutes left until the next price bump so I was able to do a few quick things before they were done. A great move experience!!

Awesome! Communication pre-move was excellent. They arrived a few minutes early. Worked extremely hard. Even though they charge by the hour, they worked extremely fast. Everything was moved without incident.
