EARTH SCAPES LANDSCAPING

Very poorly.  The owner David was initially very responsive but pressured us to start the job quickly as he claimed to have an opening.  We paid 1/2 of the total $16,000 up front.  After a few days of activity at the house work ground to a standstill.  We received various excuses from "my wife is having health issues" to problems with email, trucks, suppliers, etc.  The quality of the work was very poor and David, the owner was never on site to supervise the crews.  David committed to meet deadlines which were never met, and when they were missed there was never any follow up or indication of when the work would be finished.  Other issues included the job site being left in very poor condition, failure to correct issues with workmanship, and having his crews come to our house to indicate that they hadn't been paid.  The work was never completed and we needed to hire another contractor to attempt to fix Earthscapes poor workmanship and complete the job.  We have filed a dispute attempting to get money refunded for work that was not completed.

This company gave me an estimate to pull the root, etc. and repair. He was nice, but his workers were not competent and while they were working they hit the irrigation system. Although they did repair it they didn't complete it and I now need to find someone to complete the job correctly. This service was extremely uneven.
