They do lawn mowing, tree trimming, they do everything. They do it on a regular basis. They come out every two weeks. We are very happy with their services. We are very satisfied.

They are very good, that is why they are there with us.

Signed up with Drake Landscape for the weekly service last year. Everything had gone very well. They did a good job, payment was easily done with a monthly check for actual services. Come 2016, Drake just doesn't ever come back. No phone call, no email, nothing. I called them a few times, the first time with Dan mentioning something about his crews not getting their work Visas this year or whatever, and assured that they will be back and working again in a couple of weeks. Well, now months have gone by and still a no show. Again, no call, nothing. I don't understand why they don't want paying customers in their own neighborhood. Anyway... Looking for someone else. I thought the crew did a pretty good job actually. The problem is more with owner/management rather that the work done by crews.

Dan was super nice. He came out to give me a quote which I felt was very reasonable. The next day he had the ivy trimmed. Awesome job.

He did a really good job. When I was looking around a lot of places he was kind of really receptive to what I needed done and getting feedback to he thought would help in addition to what I was already planning to do and gave a really good price. I would recommend him to other people in Austin.

Drake Landscape has been taking care of my lawn for about 1.5 years, first at a rental home and now at my new home.  They are reliable, show up as scheduled without prompting or phone calls.  Billing is easy, done by mail.  They are quick to call back with any concerns.

They do such a great job I've hired them to take care of my mother's yard as well.

He is fabulous. I can call him during the month and say, "Would you do this, would you do that?" and the guys come. When they come I can ask for different things. They do a great job. I like his knowledge of plants and professionalism. He walked around the yard, discussed everything, remembered it, sent his crew out and they accomplished it. When I ask for extra he does it. He planted a couple of trees for me. He  also suggested very professional sprinkler installers so I think he knows good people. I just really like him. He is a nice honest guy.

I found them on Angie's List, and they are great. They come consistently, they do consistently good work, and they are efficient. They are everything you would like to have in a lawn service. I would recommend them. I think their price is reasonable.  They are always here when I need them.

He is a horticulturalist. He is very flexible when it comes to making schedules. His prices are very good. My lawn looks better than ever.

Our landscaping had taken several hits from droughts, freezes, and old-age.  After a few attempts over the last year to find a landscaper to help with an overhaul, we got in touch with Drake Landscape Services.  We met with Dan a few days after our initial contact.  He was friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.  His suggestions were right in line with what we had been thinking.  He provided good advice on what should be kept and what should be removed, as well as providing great suggestions on which new plants to install.  He was also conservative where appropriate - suggesting to simply cut some plants back rather than completely removing them and replacing them as others had suggested.
The work was performed quickly and professionally about two weeks later.  The entire install took one day.  The crew was polite and professional, and did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards.
We will definitely use them again next time we need professional help.  The whole process was fast, effortless, and the results were great.

Several years doing business with Dan Drake.  Mowing and tree service.  Excellent service overall.  Dan has a degree in horticulture, so knows what he is doing.

First, a little about my yard. I have a 100% xeriscaped yard around my house and garage, with the remaining area left to grow as it sees fit. My yard was designed to showcase native plants in a semi-natural setting. As a consequence, I have no grass, no edging, and it all looks a bit jumbled. I used to have a service that came by 2X a year. In the spring for clean up and in the late fall to trim back lantanas and other shrubs for growth in the following spring. Unfortunately, my guy went out of business, so the yard has gone fallow for 2 years. Dan came by to review the project and I was immediately impressed with his knowledge of native plants. He also understood my goals for the project, and the type of yard I like to maintain. He understood that I was going for a semi-natural look, not a manicured garden. The project took 3 days. The crew were great. Very professional and very neat. Everything was completed on time and at a fair price. I am hoping to sign Dan's company up for my 2X a year service.

They were very professional. Said they could only do it on Tuesday because that was their day for small miscellaneous jobs. They gave me a range in the bid based on number of hours. Actual time was over estimate, but they checked with me before going over what they had said. I sent payment to the wrong address initially (my fault) and they were cool despite the delay.

I would use them again because they were good. Price was reasonable for company work. Given my circumstances, I might look for a cheaper one-man-show alternative next time because my needs are pretty simple.

Drake's crew keeps our lawn looking neat with their regular mowing and edging.  We don't suffer any guilt feelings from not "keeping up with the neighbors" on this block of well-maintained lawns. 
After the recent trimming of bushes, etc. the whole front yard looks 100% better. The crew did a good job of neatly trimming the overgrown bushes, etc, and of cleaning up all the debris. 
The crew is Hispanic; the crew leader speaks good English and directs the crew in Spanish.
Communication can be a little tricky, though.  For example, I asked the crew leader to have all the foundation plantings cut back 6" - 12" from the walls of the house.  I was pointing -- with hands spread about 9" apart --  in a direction between bushes and wall to give him what I thought was a clear understanding of what I wanted.  The bushes in that direction were trimmed; however, the other plantings weren't until I brought it to his attention. 
The company and crew members are sensitive to the environment.  Dan says that the company uses organic products.  During the recent trimming the young man who was heavily pruning a very large bush called my attention to the fact that there were active bird nests in the branches.  We decided to leave that bush alone until Fall when the birds are gone. 
Though the crew leader responded well to my requests when he was here, I graded Drake down one letter on responsiveness.  That is because I had a phone conversation with Dan about their doing the trimming and fertilizing, but next time the crew came, they didn't know anything about that conversation and had not brought the proper equipment and supplies for doing the work.  They were prepared the following time.
This past year we have been in and out of town on an irregular basis, and mail delivery has occasionally been inconsistent.  With forewarning, Drake has accommodated our catching up some times on what we owe and paying in advance other times. 
All in all, we have been very satisfied with the service we've received from Drake.
