I want to make sure this is the same Doug. Not much info on him as provided by Angie's List. The Doug we did business w/ has a phone number 512-577-0577 . His name is Doug Yoder, and there is a Clint Yoder. I can't remember which came out.

Our door would not work and he came out and fixed it quickly, a what I figured was a great price. Came when he said he

BTW; We've had problems in the past w/ Angies where we get bad reviews for work we never did and get bad reviews because we didn't get back to a customer who never called. This could be A GOOD EXAMPLE OF THAT. I HAVE DOWN DOUG, I HAVE HIS LAST NAME AND EMAIL. YOU DON'T HAVE MUCH OF ANYTHING DESCRIBING THIS DOUG.

It was good. I was pleased with the job that he did and the information that he gave me. He gave me some information that was very helpful about the future, how to replace the door and what to look for. He basically serviced the garage door. He did not replace anything, he just serviced it because it was making a lot of noise. I do not remember how much he charged me for the service but he was friendly and informative. It was long ago so I do not remember exactly but I am pretty sure that he was on time. He was was really great and he gave me information that I did not know about such as things to look for and the other kinds of services for the garage door. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful. I did not have anything to compare their price with.

They came promptly given the amount of the year. Doug as congenial and was willing to talk about the repair. He was recovering from an arm injury but was able to perform the repair. I would recommend their services. I like the fact that I was dealing with principles of the company.

Everything went smoothly. He even replaced all the wiring to the detectors and checked the coil spring for the door.

They were fine. The price was nice and fast service. They were very easy to work with and were negotiable on price. I would use them again in the future.

The part was about $20 and the rest labor.

Doug's Garage Door Service did work for me about two weeks ago. We spent just a little over $1,000. This is actually the second time I have used him. He has excellent service. Their customer service is really great and they are smaller company, a family owned business which is really good. They are a lot more personable. They try to find doors for cheaper prices at their cost to save the customer money. They are great on follow up. They come back, you don't have to wait a long time. Usually within one or two day response time. I got really good response with them. I actually have referred them out.

I called for service, and left a message. Within a few minutes he returned the call, and I gave him the details. Within a few hours he was on site. He made the required adjustments in about .5 hours. Checked out the whole operation.

The torsion spring broke on my garage door one morning when I was leaving to go to work. I managed to get the door open and the car out, but it was a pain without the spring. I found Doug's Garage Door Service on Angie's List, called them, and Clint came out the next day to perform the work. He even moved the arm that connects the opener to the door because it was installed improperly when the house was built. Job well done.

I called other garage door repair companies to get quotes. I called Doug's Garage Door repair and left a message, and got a call back within 30 min. I described the problem and got an estimate that was approx. 45% less than the other companies. Clint said he was in the area and could be out in a few minutes. I agreed and w/ the price and Clint arrived about 15 min. later. Clint made a couple adjustments to the track and the spring, and lubricated the garage door. Since is was an easy fix, Clint went ahead and inspected and lubricated the other garage door at no additional charge. Clint was very friendly and honest, AND only did the required work on the door. No additional parts were needed. He did offer an additional fix/part to strengthen the garage doors to make them last longer, but said it really wasn't needed. I HIGHLY recommend this company and will call on them again.

We backed into the garage door while the it was closed. We called Doug,s to make the repairs. Clint, Doug's son, arrived quickly and found the problem. The repairs were completed within less than 45 minutes.
Also, after checking the mechanism, he repaired another problem with the back-up battery at no extra cost. We have used Doug's Garage Door Service several times in the past cost and have always received fast, courteous and professional service.

Excellent in all respects. Doug arrived within an hour of my call. I had narrowed down the problem to a couple of ideas, and he told me on the phone that these were indeed the typical weaknesses in the (Genie) system. He had the needed part on the truck when he arrived and installed it very quickly. He also adjusted the springs, lubricated the whole system, and even remounted the loose button on the garage wall. I wanted to learn more about how everything worked, so he talked me through what was happening and how all parts should be working. I had lost one of my openers and asked him how I could made an additional one fit in if I bought it in the future. He gave me details and showed me how to train the system. Very nice, helpful, and efficient person. I do not hesitate to give him the highest rating.

They repaired the main gear that pulls up the garage door becuase it snapped. The second time they fixed an electrical problem.He was very prompt and nice. He came on the same day that I called. I am very happy with his services.

Four months later the door works like a charm. Yes, I would have them back! Do not hesitate to call - theses guys are good!
