Diehr Masonry

Went well. Clayton worked around some cold weather during the process.

Clayton's team did some rock columns on our patio late last year and we asked him back to do an outdoor kitchen. His stonemason did a great job and Clayton himself came by the house several time to check on things, seal the front doors when the masonry was dry, and make sure everything went well. We will definitely use him again!

The work was done in a professional manner and I was pleased with the results. Price was more than fair.

Clayton and company did a small retaining wall for us (2 small walls actually). Clayton charged in range that I expected. My wife who is very picky said she would hire again which is the litmus test.

The work was done promptly in one morning. The quality of the work was pretty good. A handyman might have done it cheaper, but for professional company the price was OK. I would recommend.

Clayton sent Charles, who is a true artisan to do the work on our rock columns. I knew the patio would look better with rock columns, but I had no idea it would look THAT great! Charles' work was superb and we want him back to do the rock work on our BBQ enclosure soon. BTW, I don't know why this site keeps rotating the photo I've attached, but you can get an idea of the quality of work anyway.

The work was excellent. We are very happy with the whole project. It was the second time we had hired them.

The work itself only took a couple of days total over a week or so timeframe. The weather was bad, rainy and cold so this delayed the progress in between the days. We were very pleased with the quality of the work. Very neat, and matched well. All debris was cleaned up and taken away. The mason and his assistant were friendly and polite. We had gotten several estimates and theirs was the most reasonable. The only thing I would mention is that we were not sure when the work would be completed because of the weather delays. A phone call about the work schedule would have been appreciated a little sooner, but this was not a big problem and the work was finished satisfactorily. We would use Diehr masonry again and recommend them.

I called Clayton about resetting the limestone into the wall. He was very responsive and also said that it should be a straightforward job and was close to where he was coming from. He performed the service at no charge and also took the time to explain what might have caused the piece to come off. I would definitely call him back if/when I need something bigger!

Clayton Diehr listened to what I envisioned. He stayed in touch with me all along the projects. The workers he sent were punctual and very knowledgeable about their profession. The job was cleaned up daily and the job was completed exceeding my expectations! I have used this company twice and highly recommend! I was never asked for any money until the job was completed to my satisfaction. The price was very fair for the projects I requested and never changed from the original proposal. I would love to show anyone what was done along with before and after pictures. Clayton Diehr's company has got the highest level of respect of any of the contractors I have worked with.

It went great - he came out the next day after I e-mailed him, gave me an offer, and came after the weekend and did such a good job that you can't tell the area was ever replaced.

You have to schedule out in advance for Diehr Masonry.   Most good contractors have a wait time.  Once we got on the schedule, the work was completed in two days at a price for less than what we had budgeted for.  VERY pleased.   I would highly recommend Clayton Diehr and his business.

The services where performed above my expectations.  The motar matches perfectly with the original color and the repair work is hardly noticeable.  Mr. Diehr was very respectful and flexible to work with.  My mother-in-law was home to oversee the repair work. She stated that  Mr. Diehr treated her with kindness and respect through out the entire process and was very forthcoming about any work that was to be performed.  He show flexibility to the last-minuet added work and performed expertly and professionally.  The only reason they did not receive all A's is a little miscommunication failure along the way.  I was supposed to be notified of the time the work was to be performed and never was.  However, for my circumstance, I had someone home all day so it worked out.  Again,  you cannot find people with this level of professionalism, superior work and honesty in the area like this.

This whole experience went extremely well.  Clayton was punctual and professional.  I was impressed with how clean he kept the work area between visits (this job created a lot of dust), and his skill at mixing mortar to blend with the existing brick work.
