Reid responded in 20 minutes, arriving to our house which was completely without power after a storm knocked down a tree which ripped the main electrical line off the house. He knew just what to do, and the power was restored as soon as the inspector then the city approved the permitted work he performed.

Overall we were happy with the service.  Please note the $210 deal is more of a prepayment than a 25% discount.  When the work was complete, a $30 trip charge was added to the total bill and the $210 I had previously paid was applied to the full billing rate.

Had to call since I bought a special and only had one response but no confirmation of the date.  That was quickly fixed with a phone call and they came the next day!  The two men on the crew were punctual, polite and cleaned up nicely after the work was done.  Everything went smoothly and I am having them return to do some outdoor work.

The jobs were more expensive than expected or estimated.   The electrical panel replacement was $1200 more than estimated and while we were told that it would be more expensive than estimated, we were not told how much or given a new written estimate.   Decker left loose, uncapped wires hanging and a hole in our siding.   When we complained about the unexpected high price, he offered to cover the cost of the siding repair.  
Decker said that the job was more expensive than estimated because the electric company wanted it to be relocated.   However, in its new position it is close to a large tree than before.
One of the GFI was not properly attached to the wall and one was crooked.   These defects were remedied on a second visit. The GFIs cost $600.

The electrician was easy to work with and very nice.  We had previously cleared up all the communication issues, so we were pleased with the service this time.

I had Decker Electric over to install my new 6 foot chandelier to my 22 feet ceiling.It was a daunting job yet the crew worked so professionally and efficiently. We are so satisfied with their work and very reasonable price. I am absolutely happy with them and will have their service in the future. Thank you Decker Electric!

We have a fluorescent light in our garage that wasn't working even after changing out the lightbulbs.  We called Decker and they said they could come out in the afternoon.  He called around 2:30 and said they needed to eat so they didn't get to our house until 4pm (long lunch I guess).  They then proceeded to change one part in the light fixture that took all of 5 minutes and hand us a bill for $250!!!!!  $38 for the part, $150 for his hourly rate (not pro-rated for the whopping 5 minutes the project took) and then another $40 hourly rate for his assistant.  I had to pay a guy $40 to hold the ladder?  And, to top it off, he charged us a $30 trip fee.  It almost laughable at how ridiculous his bill was.  Would definitely not recommend Decker unless you want to waste a TON of money.

Communication was a bit problematic at first since he didn't read my message in response to his message on Angie's List about date and time.  A phone call by me solved that.  The workers showed up on the date expected and did a very good job.   I was floored with the bill, however, as one of the rooms was listed as double what I expected and no one mentioned that it took longer or had any problems.  Another phone call directly to the owner solved that problem, however, and I was satisfied with the results.

And when I showed him my hand-drawn sketch of which breakers handled each outlet, he didn't even laugh at the less than amateur drawing!  
 He ran a couple of checks and determined that the circuit breaker was bad.  He had one in his truck and installed it. We checked the various lights and  appliances and all were working fine.  Now I can cook and even see the kitchen and other rooms that were dark before he got here.

Everything went great.  My service technicians, Kip & Joseph, were running late and Reid called to give me a time estimate well before the time they were due to arrive.  They arrived well before the estimate.  They were courteous and cleaned up after themselves.  Kip let me know he might have to make a bigger whole in the wall than I would expect and I would be responsible for the repair.  I appreciated him letting me know this so I could make a decision about the outlet.  I told him he could proceed.  He installed the outlet (for a bidet toilet seat) in a place that is not noticeable and did not have to put a hole in the wall.  I will call them back for my future electrical work.
I used a $15 Angie's List coupon and they did not have to work around a toilet as we had removed it to have a new one installed the next day.
