Great overall experience during a very hot time of the year. Our A/C decides to break in the hottest part of summer. Adrian was very helpful with the estimates and financial part of the new A/C installation. Bryce and Carlos expertly worked during one of the hottest days of the to install our new A/C. After receiving a couple of estimates, we decided to work with Daniel’s and could be happier and cooler with our decision! Thank you so much!!

Luis was awesome! Professional and personable at the same time, and he did a great job. He’s definitely worthy of having a lunch bought for him!

Daniel's was great when my thermostat went out. I have an older system with a communicating thermostat. They explained what that was and ordered the correct one. They were super responsive and knowledgeable in terms that I understood.

Cristhian with Daniel’s Plumbing was awesome! Very professional and good communication about the plumbing issue and the different steps he took to make sure it was addressed. Knowledgeable and didn’t do more work than was needed, highly recommend! I used Daniel’s on the recommendation of a neighbor, I hope you can use them too.

The reason for the 4 rating and not a 5 is the sales part of the experiences not the technicians and the work done. Larry was the technician for my water heater. I have previously written a review for the AC installment. Larry is amazing. He has a lot of experience but what impressed me more was the fact he was totally honest & cared about my experience as the consumer. I was actually told by one of the salesman that Daniel’s prices are higher than other companies. He was correct. They seem to want to immediately try to sell a new replacement without considering the customers situation. My water heater is only 15 months old but I clearly got a ‘lemon’ and it took 3 major parts to be replaced before it was fixed. The parts were still covered by the manufacturer warranty but the labor was not. After several trips it was fixed and from my conversations with the salesperson I felt he was pushing for me to purchase a new water heater and not really understanding of the fact that I had just replaced my AC and my water heater was only 15 months old. In the end, Larry, the technician, did the right thing. It has been a week now and my water heater is working fine. I appreciate honesty more than anything when dealing with these things. I feel like I got it but it took some extra pushing on my part and a technician who stood by what he said. The owner or rep of owner replied to my previous review on the Daniel’s site. I hope this review gives him the answer to why I have not given 5 stars for either review.

WORST CONTRACTOR EVER! They did not show up to perform the work on Monday and did not call me. So I called and they said their tech got sick we we rescheduled for Tuesday. They did not show up on Tuesday. So I called again to complain and they rescheduled for Wednesday. Finally on Wednesday they showed up but instead of the 4 man crew the job was planned for, only 2 techs showed up. The installers worked hard but at the end of the day the lead tech collapsed from heat exhaustion and an ambulance took him to the hospital. The other tech just left. So I was without any A/C and the job was not done - and this is the worst heat wave in Texas history. Thursday they did not show up and did not call me. When I called them, they admitted they had no other installers and they would sub-contract the job. I found out the tech that went to the hospital had been working until very late hours for several days before coming to my house. Finally on Friday a couple of techs from another company showed up but Daniel's did not give them any instructions. I had to to all Daniel's manager and put him on the phone with the new crew. After they had time to review the progress made, the new crew realized that a lot of the duct work done by the first crew had did not fit so they had to do it all over again. Overall, Daniel's Plumbing and A/C has been the absolute WORST CONTRACTOR EVER.

Then he went back outside to screw back up the unit outside after I told him I wasn't going to do anything today with it. He also said the outside unit was newer then the inside one. They both were brand new 6 years ago. When we bought the home brand new. He said that doesn't matter. ??? So when after telling me I have replace the coils because of the leak I told him not today. By this time I was very doubtful of him. While he was writing an estimate in his truck my son turned on the ac it was blowing hot air. Mind you my only issue was it freezing up at night. I called the company and told the lady he did something to it because now it's only blowing hot air. He came in and said he turned off the freon. I never gave him permission to do this.Then he denied ever telling about the converter. Inspect is not turning the freon off. He said to save the compressor he turned it off. I honestly think he was going to leave it off if I didn't say anything. Again inspect and access isn't doing anything except telling what the problem is not turning off the freon. Update. I called another company to come out and He tells me to do a freon test the ac needs to be on! The guy that came out from Daniels didn't even turn it on. The problem was it just needed to be cleaned. People beware!

Polite, efficient. Quality work in timely manner

We always wish we did not need to get three quotes as is time consuming -- regrettably with Daniels Plumbing you must get another quote or two. I needed a job done and had no idea its cost so I went ahead with Daniel's Plumbing who charged me 8600 to replace an HVAC -- since then I got 2 other quotes both at roughly half the cost -- Sorry everybody get three quotes and avoid Daniel's Also they charged me over 300 to get a permit they never got -- when I asked for a copy of the permit they ignored me -- a week later I asked again. They said oops we never got it but will now -- a month later I still do not have permit I was charged for -- dishonest group and twice the price -- avoid Daniel's Plumbing.

PRICE GOUGERS! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! Scheduled appt to replace 3 bathroom sink faucets (parts already purchased). Would not give estimate over the phone. Technician (Larry) came out and stated it would take about 2.5 hours and the cost would be $1,800.00. That's a Labor Charge of $720.00/hour.

I am updating my previous "F" review. I guess online reviews work because I immediately received a call from Daniel's and they are refunding my money. I am updating their rating for at least eventually doing the right thing. However, I still question their overall plumbing competence.

Daniel's came out, assessed the problem professionally and then were able to do our major repair next-day. It was easy to see the total price as well as the technician's ETA. Additionally, they were in compliance with Austin tree ordinance and permitting requirements.

Exactly why everyone hates plumbers. The technician started upselling and highlighting potential other jobs before I had the chance to even show him what needed to be fixed. Kept asking me what I wanted to pay before giving a quote himself. I asked to raise a hose connection 3 ft up, initial quote was $1000, offered a way to do it without drilling into the siding and the quote for that was $700. Finally asked for just replacing the leaky faucet and his quote was $350. Honestly, if he had listened to the details of what I called him here for first I might have considered it, but starting off with trying to get me scared about the old sewer line before even seeing the leak I had asked him here was exactly why people have so much animosity towards plumbers.

The young plumber Daniel's sent out sold me on a more expensive unit than I would normally buy, based upon the expensive one being a very efficient hybrid. Once it was installed and I had time to read the manual, I discovered that it was not a hybrid. The young plumber was misinformed, not malicious. I called Daniel's and they made it right. Excellent customer service!

I had to get our shower water pressure fixed, and Dallas (the technician) did it with high quality and very quickly. I am extremely satisfied with the service.

This company was so kind as to accept my service request on super short notice - RARE in the service industry right now. I sold my house, and was scheduled to move out of the home and out of the state the within 2 days when I noticed what looked like a small water leak under the kitchen sink (that could potentially give the buyer reason to refuse to close on the deal). THANKFULLY, Daniels Plumbing & A/C worked me in the next day, and took care of a minor issue so I was able to leave town with peace of mind. These folks are so personable, respectful, and AL, the service technician who came to my home, explained what he found and what he did, which I really appreciated! BEST plumbing repair experience for me, so far!

Two technicians evaluated the problem and determined that the sewer system was again working properly and repairs were not needed. No charge for the service call/ diagnostic visit! Technicians’ manner was professional and attentive.

We had previously hired another plumbing company, which would not complete the work without a huge additional fee, so we cut them loose. I checked Angie's List, and was contacted by Diane at Daniel's Plumbing, who said they could get somebody out quickly. A short while later, Alec arrived and took care of our clogged drain quickly, and provided useful advice on how to avoid problems in the future, all for far less than the other company wanted to charge us. We will definately keep Daniel's Plumbing and Alec on our list of preferred providers.

Drains were worked on and issues were explained.

It was a tough job that required the technician to crawl under the sink to take out the old kitchen faucet that resisted every step of the way. He was very diligent and finally removed it and installed the new one. The bar sink faucet was less troublesome and now the kitchen looks that much nicer.
