Most important. problem fixed.  a light fixture was improperly installed and wire pinched finally shorted out.   Bonus: Dan fixed promptly, efficiently, affordably. 

I liked that Dan suggested a possible solution that would not involve a service call.  (Telephone diagnosis). 

Dan was prompt and efficient. The fan works great and we are enjoying it.
It took Dan a couple of days before he returned our phone call, but his service was excellent.

Dan has done work for me at my other houses so he is not new to me. I have worked with him on and off for 10 or more years and he has consistently been on time, accurate with bids, and dependable. I can count on him for honesty and quality. I do wish all contract service workers had his professionalism. P.S. if you schedule on a Monday, you might be lucky and get a loaf of his homemade bread. Yum! He is a keeper, now if I could only say that about a plumber!!
