Cutter's Landscaping

Way overpriced for average work. Always trying add cost on the project by forgetting items on the original quote. Main concern was grading and leveling of a very straight forward front yard project. Yard is more unlevel now that it was before they started. Be cautious of giving the final check to them if you need to make any adjustments, you’ll never heard from them again. Unfortunately, I will probably have to hire another company to come fix the mistakes they won’t come back for. I would not recommend this company to anyone that wants good quality work done.

Here's why I can't can't recommend Cutters: - They provided a projected start date and continually moved it back without any communication. Because we relied on the start date they gave us, we choose a more expensive tile to arrive in time, which cost us an extra $1k, only for the tile to sit in our driveway for a month. - We have very narrow yard access, and I made that very clear - and even paid for a company to move our air conditioning unit to provide access. The day that Cutters began their work, after a walk through, they tell me that they can't get their machinery into our backyard. I then had to ask our, thankfully accommodating neighbor, if Cutters could take down their fence and then have Cutters take down our fence in order to bring the machinery in through their backyard. We got lucky - but Cutters should have foreseen this obstacle! - A lot of their plants died! Because our project was in December, I wanted to wait to see how the plants did - perhaps in the spring they would do better. Nope. Cutters themselves promises to come twice in 45 days to check on the plants and I asked them to come REPEATEDLY, and they said they would, and never came. We now have to have someone else come and bring in new shrubs - and every person we consulted said, "Your landscaper should really replace those free of charge." Ha ha ha. - The work was sloppy and rushed. They planted more shrubs on the side we had less room; I asked them to put in pavers to complete a walkway, only to have them put some pavers in; I asked for a cement trash pad and they put it in on the side furthest from the driveway; and we had to pay a handyman to fix the fan they installed because it shook the whole house when we used it. They also broke the lock to our gate - they agreed to pay for the lock but should have also installed it. - I told them we wanted a smart transformer when I first approved their quote in August. They waited until the day before the lights were installed to source it - in December - and I ended up ordering it myself, delaying the project. - Part of our turf isn't installed properly - I can literally lift the edge up. While Cutters did some decent work, their lack of attention to detail, sloppiness, lack of responsiveness, and empty promises are reason enough to find another company.

Terrible. Poor communication and never showed when promised.

The Charlie & Zach team are very responsive by text, email, & voice, and have a prompt electronic billing system that makes it so easy to pay and keep records. They have a positive attitude to special projects. Thanks guys!

I hired Cutters Landscaping to take care of my lawn while being out of the State for a couple of months. So far the service has been great. I get pictures sent via text to confirm the lawn has been mowed. Receive an invoice via email and pay it using their payment software. Everything has been a smooth transaction. You have a happy customer!

Charlie and Zach arrived promptly and spent a half-day yanking out bamboo, while being careful not to damage existing plants.

Cutter’s Landscaping is second to none. I was skeptical at first considering I chose their service based off on a door hanger advertisement and had never used them, but their work impressed me (and my wife which says something). They arrived 10 minutes early to have a personal conversation with me and were in and out meeting all of my service needs. They even offered my neighbor a free quote. Would highly recommend, Zach and Charlie are the owners and they will personally make sure the work is done right. 5 stars for me!

Zach and the guys at Cutters were timely getting it done within 48 hours of my request. The job was excellent. I don’t live in an exquisite neighborhood so they could’ve slacked, but they didn’t. They took an overgrown plot and turned it into a pristine sight.
