Custom Hardwood Floors

I waited a week for the appointment and had a deadline of 12/31 for the estimate which seemed like plenty of time. The gentleman who came out was on time, professional and friendly.  However, despite many (over 5) follow up calls, I never obtained the estimate. So I would say that the office staffperson was not professional and not at all responsive.  Yes, it was during the holidays and yes they are a small business but the holidays are over and I would expect better service from a business relying heavily on referrals.

They are a little higher in price than other companies.  They were friendly and nice to work with. They worked very quickly to get the job done and were clear in the steps that needed to be taken. They gave instructions on when to leave the home or change rooms. The owner and one additional worker came out to do the work. The wood takes about two weeks to acclimate and then it took about a day and half to install the floor. They also sanded and stained the wood.

They did an excellent job. They showed up on time for the appointment. They were pretty busy, so I did have to wait a little to get an appointment. They did what they said they were going to do. There were two crew members that completed the work.

Generally I do not write reviews, BUT, we cannot express enough how thankful we are for Custom Hardwood floors. From the beginning of the project till the end, it was completely headache free! That means a lot & and the work was done right!!! First of all, Dave came highly recommended from some friends of ours. Thank goodness. We called & scheduled an appointment for an estimate. Dave arrived on time & really listened to our needs. He suggested different options & really understood our concerns. Our concerns were making sure the wood selection/finish color would be what we are looking for ( he nailed it! ) & we have a dog. Dave recommended a durable finish for the floors & its worked out great so far with our dog. During the project, Dave communicated very well to us and we always knew what to expect every step of the way. I also could not believe how tidy everything was kept (ie: tools, etc) during the process. I have worked, unfortunately, with a lot of contractors and they can be so messy and disrespectful to our property BUT, not these guys! I highly recommend giving Dave a call. Do not get screwed by another company, I have heard too many horror stories. With an investment like this, you want peace of mind & Custom hardwood floors will give you exactly that, a meticulously installed & GORGEOUS FLOOR!

The estimate of both time and money was quite accurate. Dave and his team were focused and courteous. Attention was paid to detail, especially at the front door where Dave ended up going out of his way to replace the base of the door frame so it would all look good. I was impressed with the job and would definitely recommend them.
