Cross Country Movers

I was scheduled to move on Saturday. When I contacted them, cross country movers sent someone out right away to give me a free estimate on my move. I loved that he wasn't pushy and didn't pressure me. He gave me the estimate, and stated that hopefully I would go with them. Once the moving date came, they were about 5 minutes late. However, the owner did call ahead of time to inform me of this, which was much appreciated. I understand that sometimes things happen out of our control, and that is exactly what happened on my move date. I was glad that the owner explained what happened. Once they began packing, they were quick and professional, all while taking care of my items. They had friendly conversation, but stayed on the task at hand. The move came in below what I was quoted, which was awesome. Great company, even better people. My mother and sister were there to watch the move in process and commented several times about how professional and friendly the movers were. I will keep them in my contacts for any future move I may have. I cannot imagine going with any other company, and am appreciative for their hard work. Thanks cross country movers!

Leo was always incredibly prompt to respond to any questions I had (within a matter of hours), and was incredibly flexible all around. For example, we were supposed to move on a Sunday, but due to last minute issues with my condo association, had to change the date to Saturday (just two days beforehand). They were incredibly accommodating and were able to change their schedule around to meet mine. The packers were very professional and speedy (had about 4 people working), and per our request, started before we were able to arrive. Everything was incredibly well packed and had no issues with damaged furniture at all. Even with a move across the country, my things arrived in 5 days. The driver kept in contact regularly, gave me a four hour window to deliver, and even accommodated my request to come at the end of that window. They had to carry my stuff up an incredibly steep driveway and then up three flights of stairs and put everything together perfectly. They even rearranged my storage room to fit all of the extra stuff, which I expected would have taken up two rooms (but they managed to get it all into one. All in all everyone was incredibly friendly, flexible, speedy, and careful with my stuff through and through at cross country movers. Could not have asked for a better moving experience.

The whole experience was great. Cross Country Long Distance Movers gave me their quote and since I had done a lot of moving in my younger years, I had a good idea how much time it would take to load and unload and their estimate was very close to my expectation, so I was comfortable they knew what they were offering. We packed our whole house and had it ready to go when his movers showed up on time.  I learned that they regular workers that have been moving for them and they speak highly of working for organization! Anyway, they moved everything efficiently and had it done right at the estimated time. My invoice was exactly what I expected.  I will say that having your house or apartment "ready" is a key to controlling costs. Everything we had was organized in boxes with markings so they exactly knew where to deliver each box.  I only had to track down a couple of misplaced boxes, but they were mismarked (from a prior move), so I couldn't blame the guys. I would highly recommend you consider and use Cross Country Long Distance Movers. They are honest and deliver as has been written by so many others. I wouldn't go with another company.

I was very particular about the move not taking too much of my time. They informed me that they were running late due to traffic but arrived in 20 minutes which was forgivable given how well equipped and prepared they were when they got there. They were extremely efficient but most importantly professional (polite & handling the items carefully). I asked them to try not to damage a single thing because each piece of furniture and antiques are worth a lot for me - All the items were out of the house in 3 hours time max and they didn't keep me waiting in the new house as by the time I got there so did they. The move was finished in record time, they even labeled the boxes that I hadn't and placed the items accordingly in the new house.  I did not have any lost or broken pieces. The movers were professional, easy going and extremely helpful. The move time did end up being exactly the same as estimated. I am very satisfied with the work they did, I highly recommend cross country for moving!

Great team to work with . The booking process is easy and didn't require a walk-through. They were very responsive, even when I changed the move date two times. The called to confirm the date and time a few days before so I knew they were coming. I got a team of three and got the package that included all the moving supplies (boxes, tape, bubble wrap) and also paid for the team to do our packing for us. The team (led by James) was hard-working and very efficient. They got our move done in much less time than we expected, all the TV's and fragiles were in great condition and thoughtfully wrapped. They took great care not to touch any of the walls with the furniture when they moved it in - since our new home had just been repainted. I would definitely use Cross Country Movers again and recommend it to others.

When I spoke to the folks at Cross Country Movers over the phone, they were friendly and professional, and the quote they gave me was very reasonable. The day of, they were prompt and efficient, and moved a couple of other items for me free of charge, including a lamp and an extra luggage. They even dismantled my bed frame and helped me put it together at my new home. All in all, it was a very efficient moving experience, and they were super friendly and a pleasure to work with throughout.

The one thing that did throw me off a bit was that they had originally told me over the phone that they'd send two people, but they actually sent three, John, Anthony and Jack. I was so pleased with the service that I ended up tipping them a ton also!
