This company is awesome! They arrived on time, quickly assessed the problem, explained what was wrong and what was needed to fix the problem. They performed the work, checked everything out to make sure it was working, showed me that it was fixed. The receipt included pictures of the issue and the final results. The crew were very professional and nice. I would definitely hire them again.

The garage door at our home (double door) broke and it was very difficult to open manually. I called Cowart Door systems after looking them up on Angie's List. They answered the phone immediately, were able to give me an appointment for the next morning, they showed up on time, and performed the repair. As of late, this is a very rare experience for me in the Austin area. The professionalism, punctuality and quality of the work is very much appreciated. I highly recommend them and they will definitely be the ones I used going forward for any of my garage door needs. Thank you.

"Hi Jim, Thanks for your comments. Regarding the door warranty vis-a-vis the existing operator, the only impact on door warranty is damage caused by the operator. Essentially, we are saying that we cannot warranty bad behavior of an operator that we did not install. Hopefully, that is what our tech meant to communicate, I will speak with him to be sure our messaging is correct and consistent. As you point out, if the operator is reasonably new, and has appropriate safeties, this is an unlikely occurrence. To assure things go smoothly, we recommend monthly checks of the operator safeties per the manufacturer's recommendations. The same is true for the door. A shot of light garage door oil to the hinges and roller ball bearings every 6-9 months will help to keep the door operation smooth and quiet. Good luck with the new door and thanks for the business. Almost two years ago Cowart did a service on my custom installed garage doors (doors they installed originally). That technician said my springs were too heavy duty and I didn't need two on each door, so he released the tension on one spring for each door. Two days ago my door wouldn't open and the cause is the active spring broke. $125 service call from Cowart confirmed that the prior technician was wrong and one spring isn't capable of doing the job, it needs both. Now Cowart wants me to pay on top of the $125 service call to replace the broken spring, a spring that broke because of their mistake.
I get that mistakes can be made but when a service company doesn't own up and fix their mistakes I look for other providers.

Repair people ran late by 2 hours, but I was informed of their schedule and asked if o.k.
Repairmen were knowledgeable, competent and explained what and why along the way. They fixed problem quickly and I am very pleased with their quality of workmanship.

It was an Angie's List Big Deal that I purchased. I was not impressed with those people at all. I've since had other garage door people out and they were able to repair it so I don't recommend them at all. They did come out so they did respond.

Went well. Doors seem a bit better. However, they broke a light cover and were going to return with a new one, but never did. I had to call about two months later and wait another two weeks for them to respond with a replacement date.

All Garage door springs were adjusted, and electric door opener was making loud noise on opening and closing. Noise problems were resolved by Garage Door Service. Jameus and Andrew performed the work. They were polite and very clean. They explained in detail exactly what needed to be done. I highly recommend this garage door company.
