They refused to send us statements or receipts for the move. This move cost us more than a move from Wisconsin to Round Rock. The estimate we received was for two men, and they sent four. Not only that, but many of our belongings were damaged or lost. Some of the items that were originally lost have been found, but those that are still missing are of strong sentimental value. I purchased $25,000 of additional insurance in May, and they never reflected that in the claim that was submitted. Now, Copper Palm won't speak to me at all. They said that the blanket payout was $0.60 per pound, but they never supplied me any documentation of weight or measurement for my belongings. Nobody has ever given me any of the documentation or reports for any of this, not only from Copper Palm, but also from the insurance adjuster and the furniture refinisher that was repairing the damage on the large, broken bureau panel. I would never recommend them to anyone.

I am a Realtor.  My clients sold a home, but were not able to move all of their furniture before closing.  The buyer hired Copper Palm Moving and Storage and moved her furniture in.  I arrived that night to find that my client's furniture was on the lawn.  Anthony, Lawrence, and Mike from Copper Palm were about to leave, but stayed to help me move the furniture onto my trailer for no charge!  Even after a hard day moving their client, they said they "loved to move furniture" and simply wanted to help.  I asked the buyer about them later, and she said she's used Copper Palm many times and highly recommends them.  So do I! r

We recently hired this company to move our belongings from our former house to our new home. The price was reasonable compared to some of the other quotes we received. They showed up on time with a 4 man crew. Most of the loading of our furniture/ boxes, etc went smoothly and they took time to shrinkwrap sofa, coffee tables and other furniture. Before departing to our new home, which was about 20 miles north, the foreman noticed one of the tires on the moving trailer was flat. Rain had just started to come down pretty hard (we got 3 inches that day) so he decided not to stop and put air in the tire. Unloading at our new house was also fairly smooth, however it was POURING outside and they continued to bring in furniture and mattresses. My husband finally told them to stop and let the rain die down some. We were having to wipe everything down and the floors were very wet from them tracking in and out. I appreciated that they wanted to get the job done quickly but we didn't want our furniture ruined in the process. We ordered Pizzas and fed them. When they unloaded the washing machine, I noticed the soft-close hinge on the lid was broken and pointed it out to them immediately. Our washer was less than a year old and has a soft close feature that slowly shuts the lid. With that broken, the lid just slams down now. They had me fill out a claim form indicating what was broken. They said someone would get in touch with me in a few days to have it fixed. 1 week went by and no one called so I called them. They pulled up the claim and asked for the make and model of the washer. The guy said he would look into it and call me back. Another week went by and no call. I called again and spoke to the same guy. He said they could send me a check for $105 to pay for the broken hinge. The check came in the mail about a week later. I don't know if the flat tire on the trailer had anything to do with the damage to the washer but it kinds makes me wonder.  The total job took about 3.5 hours even with the rain. Overall, they did a really good job of getting us moved. The follow-up (or lack of) on the broken washer was irritating and they could use a little customer service training in that area. It's also why I didn't give them an A+ rating.

I purchased a Groupon for their services and booked the appt. They were nice and professional! Kelly and Eric showed up on time
Ready to work. They worked efficiently and got all of our things packed into the truck. We all drove to the new house. They rolled out the red carpet and back to work they went. They put everything right where I wanted it!. I was very pleased with how these two worked together. I would use them again. This company had no hidden fees. Kelly and Eric did a great Job! Thank you!

This is the 3rd or 4th time we've used Copper Palm. They are always very professional, on time, careful and their guys always are friendly and courteous. We have the reset of our move in a couple of months to move our house contents and Blake and Copper Palm will definitely get our business.

We made this move from house to apartment over a period of 2 weeks. Our apartment lease started on Nov 1, but our house sale was not yet complete, so we needed to leave the house somewhat set up to continue showing if necessary until the weekend before closing. Our apartment stay will be temporary until we move into a newly built house nearby around the middle of next year.
On Nov 1 we moved only what we needed to live in the apt (bed, dressers), along with large very heavy items that were not needed for staging (upright piano, china cabinet, and bookcase), and other possessions, mostly in boxes, from both the house and a nearby storage unit.
Austin and Jacob showed up on time at 9 AM, after calling me about a half hour beforehand to let me know they were on their way. They assessed the situation, explained how the charges would be calculated, went over the paperwork with me, and started working quickly. They were very polite and professional the whole time. They padded the doorways to prevent damage to the house. In about 1 and 1/4 hours they had the items loaded from the house, so we moved on to the storage unit. They emptied the the 7 1/2' by 15' storage unit in about 45 minutes.
Austin and Jacob arrived at the apartment complex in south Austin with the truck just a couple of minutes after I arrived in my car. Travel time was about 45 minutes. They worked quickly and efficiently and placed everything in the apartment (and attached storage unit and garage) where we requested. They even relocated a couple of the heavier items when we changed our minds about where we wanted them.
For 4.5 hours of work by the 2 guys, they charged us 4.5 x $100/hour + $60 travel charge = $510. The charges were consistent with the original estimate.
Between Nov 1 and Nov 15 my wife and I moved the contents of our closets and cabinets in our personal vehicles, so that by the time we were ready for Copper Palm to return on Nov 15 to finish the move, they only had to move the remaining furniture, about a dozen boxes, some outdoor patio furniture, and contents of our garage (lawn mower, yard tools, etc.).
Kelly, Jacob, and Jade arrived about 15 minutes early at 8:45 AM, again after calling a half hour earlier. We looked over what needed to be moved, completed the paperwork, and then the guys went right to work. They took the same care loading as before, covering doorways with padding. They were very polite and professional. The whole loading, driving, and unloading process took only 3.5 hours. There was no significant damage to any of our possessions. The charges were calculated as: 3.5 hours x $165 per hour for 3 workers + $100 travel fee = $677. In this case we paid by credit card, which added an extra 5% charge, making the total just over $700 for the day.
Overall my wife and I were very pleased with the workers on both days. They worked very hard, were courteous, and got the job done efficiently. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Copper Palm to others in the Austin area who are planning a move. As a matter of fact, we intend to call them again next year to help us move from our apartment to our newly built house.

A team of 4 movers with 2 trucks arrived as scheduled.  Kelly, Jacob, Jade, and Anthony introduced themselves and reviewed all areas of the house that had contents to be moved into storage.  They inventoried and tagged everything and moved it into the trucks and had the whole job done very efficiently in a little over 2 hours.  We had quite a bit to move, even though the kitchen and master BR items did not move out this time.  We had previously boxed up most items for them to move.  Large furniture items somehow got through the doors in Tetris fashion with no damage due to extra care on their part and the use of padding where needed.  We had a lot of gardening tools and other items from a storage shed to move as well as a garage full of hobbiest items ahd household goods.

This first stage of the move is now completed, but there is more to come since we are now moving into an apartment temporarily and ultimately will move contents from storage to our new home, probably in January.  Thanks to Blake for providing and onsite estimate and to our moving team, Kelly, Jacob, Jade, and Anthony, for doing a fine job on this first phase of the move.  -MH

They broke the agreement. They said they would pad the furniture and wrap. Pad all the door jams and they did none of that. One of the employees said they forgot the wrap, even though the office was about a mile from my place they didn't even consider going back to pick it up. The general manager said he was going to show up and never did. My husband called and told him how terrible of a job the movers had done. Shawn said he would call me on Monday to make things right and never received a call. I would not ever use this company again and I would not recommend to anyone.
Response from COPPER PALM MOVING AND STORAGE
"Thank you for your review. We are sorry that you were unhappy with our service. Our guys did not bring wrap that day and it should have been brought out to your sight. We have since then changed up our management team and are open to hearing if we can fix any problems you may have. Thank you again. Copper Palm Team."

I've moved a great deal and these guys were, by far, my best move.  Kelly and Chance were extremely professional, efficient, hard working and kind and went above and beyond to make sure nothing was damaged or dirtied in the slightest.  Recommend them highly and will use them again.

We needed help loading a 24' truck that we were driving from Austin to Houston. We hired 2 guys from Copper Palm to load it for us. They were fantastic. On time, so polite and hard working. In truth we had about 28' worth of stuff that they somehow managed to fit into that truck..it was a miracle! Thank you Charles and Sheldon. I highly recommend these guys!!

We love this company! Since we've used them so often, Blake, the owner, knows us and knows our needs. The men he sends are consistently professional, courteous hard workers with good attitudes. They are very careful with our belongings and wrap the furniture well to keep it from getting damaged. We have never had any problems with any broken items. This move took 13 hours and two trips and the men worked hard every minute of it without any complaints. There were a few things left that wouldn't fit on the second load and Blake sent 2 men out the next morning to finish it up even though we didn't have them scheduled for a second day. We will be making another move within the year and we will most definitely be calling Copper Palm to help us out! Thanks, guys! You ROCK!!!

They took very good care of things and were friendly as well.  They were punctual and thorough.  They contacted us before the move to remind us and make sure we were ready.  Moving out required a move down a very steep driveway but it was no problem.

Copper Palm has been great to work with from the first contact through the move. We moved on two days, the first day was a move of some furniture and household goods to a temporary house. Second day was bulk of move to storage. Movers arrived on time and everything went according to plan.

A few days prior to the move, the owner came out and gave an estimate for our move from Georgetown to Victoria.  It was about $1000 less than the other estimate that we received.  On moving day, 3 very nice young men arrived at the time scheduled.  They introduced themselves and started to work.   They carefully wrapped and padded all furniture and loaded it into the trailer.  The only break they took was when I offered them refreshment and that was only 5 minutes or so.  No smoking or sitting around.  They came to do a job, and they did it!  The entire house was loaded in about 3 hours.  The next morning, they arrived in Victoria by 9:30 or so and unloaded in about 2 1/2 hours.   Moving is a chore and I dreaded the experience.  These guys were great and  I cannot recommend them highly enough.

This was our 4th move from home to home.   2 adults and 2 kids. We looked at multiple moving companies and picked Copper Palm based on price, their recommendations on Angies List and the person who came to give us a quote.  We also saw their website videos and were impressed with the handling of the furniture (wrapping before moving).
They completed the move in 2 days.  1.5 days to pack and 0.5 day to move and unload.  We did not have them unpack.  Overall I believe they did a good job.  We were very happy with the person who packed the kitchen - not a single item was broken.  On the other hand to our disappointment the furniture (sofas, tables, chairs, etc.) were not wrapped in the home before moving.  They wrapped it in their trailer.  Which is similar to my previous experience with movers. Fortunately we had no major damage occur.
A few other things that we liked:
- team was very courteous
- knowledgeable about moving and how to avoid damage
- did their job on time
A few things we did not like:
- smell of smoke on a few individuals (we are very sensitive to it due to kids asthma)
- had to really clean the house we moved out off as the water from the refridgerator mixed with dirt from their shoes made a mess.
- forgot quite a few things at the older house.
Finally one other thing I have to mention is we ended up misplacing two items - our compact digital camera and my older son's wallet with about $150 in cash.  I did report it to the Copper Palm Moving company and understand completely that it is up to us to secure valuables before the movers come in.  I understand this is our fault and we need to ensure we don't ever make that mistake again.

Everyone from Copper Palm who we came into contact with - from the owner, Brent, to the packers and the moving crews - were personable, courteous and professional. The packers were very careful with our possessions and took time to point out to us before wrapping if there was existing damage. Having already unpacked about half of the boxes, we haven't found anything that is broken or damaged. The moving crew - Carlos, Brandon, Charlie & Adam - were terrific. They were quick, but careful moving us out and back into the new house. We will definitely use Copper Palm again and will recommend them to our friends.

She is currently doing interior designing at my house. I pay her on an hourly basis. She has helped me before and she knows my style. That is why I like her. She is a mature designer so she makes informed design suggestions. I told her what I like and she went and found it for me. That was awesome. She got me about 12 samples of tiles with different textures and I shortlisted 5 of them. These were used in the bathroom. She lays out the pros and cons about using certain stuff and its economics. She lets me take the decision. She helped me move into my place. Before that I interviewed them and used them. Her job is more of less done. She is very professional. She was flexible enough to try something different when Ralph, my remodeling contractor, suggested that she buy the tiles at another place than she goes regularly. My husband thinks that the price is worth it. I was shocked at the price because she was not so expensive but then the job she did earlier was different. Her husband is a mover. His company helped us to move to our earlier house. She came later and helped us to unpack the boxes. Then she placed things around the house in wonderful places, hung up pictures and things like that. That process was less expensive. Perhaps that was why I thought she was expensive this time.

They worked around my schedule. Showed up exactly the time scheduled, guys were very professional, courteous and all around nice people. They wrapped all my furniture in moving blankets, protected all the doorways with padding, placed boxes and furniture where I wanted it. Very careful, neat work.
