First of all the Boatrights have been in business for many years I got great complements from Benjamin Moor Steve and crew were easy going and always on time and neat. It took a week to complete the job which he did tell us would take when it was done it looked great. A few days later it started to peel and I call Steve and they came right back to fix problem. I was told before the job he recommended to us B Moor products but I wanted to use a different product and because of the poor quality of the product it started to peel but Steve still without charge did the job all over again at no charge with the B Moor product and it came out great! It is so refreshing to deal with a business that stands behind their work and is a pleasure to work with. I will always use them for any painting or staining needs. They were really good and very professional. The oil paintwork on the cabinets required sanding down and extra work. They did a good job on that. The owner comes from three generations of painters. They had a two-year guarantee, if they missed a spot or if it needed touching up.

Very very good! The house looks great! Prep and paint were first class. Excellent attention to detail. Crew very pleasant to work with and very professional. Always cleaned up after themselves and never made a mess. The only problem was that it took a long time for them to finish, in part because at the end the boss kept taking the crew off to work on other jobs. There were also some weather delays but that is understandable and to be expected. I had no problem with that. I selected the Boatrights because they had done work for me before and I knew their prep and paint would be up to the standards that I wanted. They spent a lof of time on prep, which was necessary for our old house, and all painting was brush, not spray. They provided the level of quality that I wanted at a fair price. I just wish it hadn't taken a month to complete.

It was great. They were timely. They were really good at cleaning up everything afterwards because it was a huge mess. I didn't have any issues with them.

Steve and crew came out multiple times in December 2010 and January 2011. Originally they were here to repair some drywall in the ceiling and paint it. The ceiling ranges from 9 feet high to 25 feet high in a large vault. While they were here I asked Steve if he could finish removing some wallpaper from a 1/2 bath, repaint and then texture. He gave me an excellent quote so we decided to get that done as well. I then asked if he could close up an opening under our staircase as well. He again gave me an excellent quote, so we added that to the job. The work took them less than a week start to finish and they did a great job. During this time I was also having some major plumbing redone in the kitchen as well as some electrical. Steve offered to come in after them and repair the drywall. We took him up on his offer and he came and did the work on Christmas Eve and spent most of the day performing the repairs... I was blown away by the fact he was willing to do the work on Christmas Eve... and again his prices were excellent! About a month later we decided to go ahead and get the rest of the walls painted in our great room. Again this room has walls that vary anywhere from 8 feet to 25 feet in height. I also wanted to get 4 large built ins painted that had yellowed over the years. I called Steve and he came out and gave me yet another excellent quote. So we scheduled the work. Before Steve could come in our cabinets arrived and suddenly we had Steve's crew and the cabinet guys here all at the same time. Even though our house was full of people, Steve and his crew managed to get the job done well within the time promised. And like usual the results were super!
