I took my blinds in to be re-strung.  I was led to believe they would contact me and tell me an approximate day when blinds would be ready. 
They did not.  After a few weeks, I called them and they said they would be ready soon.  When I went to get them, I noticed the bottom slat had been damaged.  I don't remember seeing that before so I left them at the store and asked them to fix it.  I never heard from them for awhile and when I called they said they had to order the slat and had problems with the supplier.  They expected it in soon.  I called again about a month later after never hearing from them and got the same story.  I called again after about another month and said I wanted my blinds.  They said I could come pick up my blinds and they would bring out the part when it arrived.  I have not heard from them since and it has been a couple of months. 

I was looking for a local company to repair my blinds to avoid buying new ones. I called and was told that there were two drop off locations in Austin, one in North Austin and one in South Austin where I could drop off my blinds for an estimate. I used the South location, located off of IH35 and William Cannon. The estimate was very reasonable so I gave the go ahead on the repair and in a few days my blinds were returned in great condition.  I was also pleased to find out that BlindSaverATX also sells parts on their website. So I was also able to get replacement valance clips that I needed. Overall, a great encounter, pleasant customer service, and very reasonable prices. I highly recommend them.
