The glass turned out exactly as I had requested. Our table looks great!

Sent them the measurements and they took care of the rest. It arrived on the promised date and the cheerful delivery guys showed up on time. They even cleaned the glass after placing it on the table.

The installer worked quickly and performed the task requested.. It was apparent that the installer knew how to handle glass and was experienced. HeI cut a piece of the old glass for us to use if we decide to replace another pane in another window..

I called at least 3 times before I got to even speak to anyone. Then they were responsive. Shower door was adjusted as I mentioned. Glass was measured. The glass for 2 tops were perfect the 3rd piece is too large. Have never bothered returning it. Shower door started sticking again. Same thing with them being non responsive, finally spoke to someone told them what the previous service man said and he asked me what kind of hinges they were, I said I had no idea so I took pictures holding a ruler next to it and emailed. No response, called and "oh, yeah, I got the pics but we do t have them so we'll have to use different ones and we don't know what will fit."" Sorry, I'm not a glass person, neither do I.....so I suggested maybe they needed to come out and measure. Never heard from them again. Door still sticks, I don't know who else to call. Extremely disappointed.
My date of service is a guess. I am traveling and do not have access to my paperwork.

Although it was a really difficult job to do, they were helpful. We haven't had any problem. The people in the office were very helpful with this and making suggestions for us. They got through getting our glass cut early and they called us to let us know we can pick it up early if we like to. I thought their prices were reasonable, but I don't have any complaints about it. They were very good.

Excellent job. I called then Thursday after hours and left a message. They called me first thing Friday and scheduled the appointment for this morning. Their technician, Keith, called to say he was on his way, prepared our estimate, and then replaced the glass. They were prompt, courteous and reliable. I have used them in the past and would definitely call them again.

First of all, it was a very cold day, and not the most comfortable time to be outside but no one complained. Two men were working together. it took about 2-3 hours. (I made them hot chocolate.) They had given me a window of time they would arrive (1:30 to 4) and I got a call early on and they said they would be in 30 minutes and they were.

They knew what they were doing and they didn't destroy vegetation around the window area.

In setting things up, every one was professional. I'll be using them again for replacing other windows in the house.

Steve took my order over the phone. He recommended the width of the glass and gave me a date of when it would be ready. I had a last minute change in my schedule and called to see if I could pick the glass up the early part of the following week. When I called I was told I could do that or I could get it later in the day. It worked out perfectly and they were able to have the glass ready a day early!
I have used Binswanger off and on over the years for various glass pieces(picture frame glass, light fixture panels, and for furniture) . They are wonderful and very professional. I hope to use them on larger jobs as I begin to remodel my home.

It was easy to get to the correct person and set up a time to do the work. They came out during the time period they gave me and without prompting. The men were respectful, listened to what I wanted done, explained the best way to achieve my result, and quickly and professionally cut and re-installed the mirror. I was told that the company could not be responsible for breakage if the mirror broke when they did the cutting. However, the workmen knew what they were doing and were very efficient at it. They completed the job in less than half an hour. There was no problem and the mirror did not break.
I had the mirror glued to the wall and after installing new counter tops that did not connect with the mirror, the mirror slipped off the glue and hit the bottom of the new countertop. Fortunately it didn't fall forward and completely shatter, but one section of the side of the mirror, about 3 inches in from the end, cracked. I priced mirrors and it was cheaper to reuse this one if the cracked area could be cut away. I chose Binswanger glass after calling them and getting an estimate.
Interestingly, the cost for the job was almost exactly the same at all the companies I called. I chose Binswanger because I had used them before and knew that they did everything they could to satisfy a customer and went above and beyond what was required on a job.
I was not disappointed this time with their work either.

They did a good job. They marked and measured everything and installed the windows. I thought that their customer service was excellent. They had a wide variety of glasses to choose from. My overall experience with them was nice. Their price was also very good.

Edges of the glass were very rough to the touch and it's appearance did not look polished...as it sits on top of the table and not in an insert it was important that it be smooth. Didn't realize this until I got the piece home....large circle for the kitchen table. I wanted to bring it back and have the edges smoothed out...they didn't seem interest in fixing it so I just moved on....I now notice they are out of business at my local location. That said, I knew what to check for the next time I ordered from them...they were very close to my home so I did plan to use them again for convenience. The next time I planned to be very specific in my expectations. Took a table over to have the glass measured and they were no longer there.

The reason I "would not hire again" is that they are no longer in business at my closest location.

Binswanger glass custom cut each glass shelf to match the size of my existing shelves. The job was fast and professional. I will definitely return again.

I had gone to home depot to look and purchased some glass to do it myself, not the windshield of course. The guy there recommended me to them. The smaller local companies were much more reliable than the bigger advertisement glass company that fairly rips one off. They did a great job and very reasonably priced. I went there on Wednesday and everything was done within day and a half.

I found Binswanger Glass to be very helpful. I asked for a special edge on the glass tabletop and they did it for me. They did the piece within the time they promised me. They did a great job. I initially hesitated to get this work done as I thought it would be expensive but realized that I could have got it done earlier after they quoted me the price. The work was exceptional. They did exactly what I asked them to do.

The installation cost was pretty reasonable. They were very busy when I came in and they misplaced my phone number. They never called me and I had to call them. Then they found it. They fixed it, but didn’t tell me that they fixed it. They were pretty punctual. I would use them again.

Final cost was $200 higher than original estimate.

They came when they said they would. They did not bring the the right glass but they immediately went back to their warehouse and got it which maybe delayed them 30 minutes. I felt it was an excellent response to a problem.

Terrible. Our house was broken into and a window was smashed in the master bedroom. Binswanger in Austin TX said it would take 5-7 business days to get the replacement in. It took 10 business days. Then when they showed up late to install it, they broke the glass pane in the frame; the very pane we waited 10 days for. Complaints to the manager resulted in getting the second pane in 5 days. They never cleaned up the glass pieces which were left on the ground. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. We were charged full price in spite of the "comedy" of errors. We would have been much better off dealing with a local glass company rather than a National chain which had terrible service and made no attempt to even apologize for it.

They came when they said they were going to come and fixed it. It was wonderful. They couldn't have done it better. I really intended to call more than one company to get pricing information, but I didn't so I have no way to compare their rate. They were helpful in that they pointed out a coupon they have in the phone book that we could apply. They saved me $20 and that was a nice additional service they provided.
