I work with a real estate company in Austin and we recommend Kristen McGehee at Berger Allied for all of our long distance clients. Their pricing is competitive and they have always been able to accommodate any specific requirements that our clients have with regards to pick up or delivery dates. Kristen is extremely responsive to questions and inquiries. Thank you, Berger Allied, for always taking care of our clients!

Things were fine until the local movers packed and moved goods to new house. They ran out of boxes and tape in packing the apartment, and borrowed boxes and tape from me. They did not number boxes and place on inventory list. A box of kitchen goods from apartment was lost, and Allied refused to pay because there were no inventory numbers on the invoice. Further, one of the four workers who came to unload at the house could not speak English, so he could not read the location of the boxes of packed in Wisconsin. Therefore, many boxes ended up in the garage instead of the right room. Despite having used Allied on two other interstate moves, I will NEVER use them again, and will encourage all friends and acquaintances to avoid them.

I thought the guys from Allied did a very good job when moving me. They made sure to bubble wrap and take their time when packing me. They were also careful when actually loading and unloading as well. Point blank, it was a lot easier to hire someone else to do all the dirty work. I was just relieved to see nothing turned up missing.

I guess you could say that the movers from American Van Lines did an okay job. Nothing was damaged or lost during the move. That was a plus. As most people would say, I think moving in general is a huge pain. Especially a long distance move. It was definitely a time consuming move, and they got the job done. I guess I would hire them again if need be.

I was one satisfied customer during my move from Sacramento to Austin. The people who work at Allied Van Lines were about as professional as you can get. They were able to move my things without any damage being done to anything. I thought that they were about as cheap as I was going to find anywhere. Therefore, I could see myself hiring their moving services again.

We were happy with the job they did moving us. What was most impressive was that we didn t have any trouble with them at all. They really made the move go smooth and nothing was missing or damaged. The company paid for the move and they moved everything into the new home without any problems.

The moved was of medium distance so we really did not foresee any major problems. The movers were on time at both the starting and destination points. They were friendly and assisted us in arranging the furniture in our new house. Nothing was damaged and the furniture was still very clean. The price was a little high but it was in line with other moving companies we called so we shouldn't complain.

I had boxed everything up, but they put all of my boxes in bigger boxes when they went to pack it in the truck. There wasn t anything broke in the move so they did a very excellent job there. They arrived on time and got the property there as scheduled.
