Mr. Robert Gonzalez of Beneficial came a little late to our appointment. He had the key to our property and inspected the property for us in Sun City, Georgetown. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly. He explained everything to us as we walked around with him. He made us feel very confident that our home we were buying was a good choice; and he told us that. We would definitely recommend him to anyone else who needed an inspector. We hope to see him again someday.

I had to find a home inspection service to inspect our prospective new home the following day. Robert Gonzalez was great to work with and was able to meet our schedule. The inspector met me at the property and spent 5 hours checking everything very thoroughly, and explained everything to me. The following day he provided a thorough 40 page report containing details and photos of all the findings. He also opened up the septic system and took photos inside the tank. Beneficial coordinated a termite inspection as well. The original quote was a bit higher, but when I explained that the out building was not as large as described, he immediately lowered the price.

Robert Gonzalez did an excellent job with our home inspection and was recommended to us by our realtor. Being first time homebuyers, we decided to stay through the entire four hour inspection. It was an educational experience which we recommend to any first time homebuyer. It turns out this very same house was previously inspected by Robert a couple months earlier so he gave us an option to go with a full inspection or a more condensed version. Robert was thorough in pointing things out and and answered all of our questions. Any concerns were also quickly addressed. The report of the inspection was emailed to us the very next day.

This inspector was referred by my realtor who highly recommended him. I normally would research this further but I decided to trust my realtor. Mr. Gonzalez was extremely thorough, remaining on the premises for over 4 hours. He found numerous issues that needed addressing, including a dangerous gas leak in the attic and corrosion of the 2 water heaters with which we were able to barter $2500 toward closing costs (YMMV). To give you an idea how thorough he was, the inspection report for a somewhat smaller house 5 years earlier was 11 pages. Beneficial's was over 40 pages.
