About us

I am an experienced carpenter and general handyman who apprenticed under the late Frans Damhen, an esteemed Austin builder known for projects like Hotel San Jose. Though I am content to work on just about any project, my specialty and preference is historic preservation work, with which I have both the extensive experience and the patience and appreciation needed to not make the mistakes you sadly see all too often from modern workmen. I can repair, or replace with hand crafted replicas, wooden windows, doors, glass, trim and other historic features. I am also familiar with repointing and repairing historic masonry. If you have a project on an older home that needs a trained and conscientious eye, I am your guy.
