Mark, Patty, and team did an INCREDIBLE job! I got four quotes to get my HVAC and duct work replaced, and his was the best price for the highest quality equipment. He was extremely responsive in the weeks leading up to the install and answered all my questions thoroughly. He obviously knows his craft inside and out, and the process was completely seamless. They started and finished on time and were so detail focused in their work (down to removing all the plastic drop cloths off my furniture and putting it back where it belongs). He also had the best comps on top of the standard parts and labor warranty. To top it off, I asked for a tank top with their company design on it (because it's pretty cool), and he gave me a few tanks and t-shirts for my boyfriend and I. I would gladly recommend Awesome Air & Heat to any friend or family member!

Awesome Air is Awesome! I have been using Awesome Air for 10 years. Mark and Patty are definitely the best. Why? Because they treat each customer like family. They understand what it's like when your A/C stops working. They know you want it fixed quickly. The other day I had a unit stop working and I called them at about 10 AM. They had me up and running that afternoon. They are an honest and a quality company. They have always treated me fairly, have fair prices and truly care about me being completely satisfied. My daughter was very happy with Awesome's service when she had her a/c replaced, and she recommended them when I needed a new hvac last spring. Awesome's estimate was the lowest, and I appreciated the information about the system and rebates that Mark gave. They did a professional job of installation. The new system worked great through last summer and winter. However, this spring when the weather heated up, there was no cool air! Mark came out and showed me where some critter had chewed through the wiring in the outside unit. He replaced all the wires and did not charge me anything. I think Mark really cares about the quality of his service. I definitely recommend Awesome!

GREAT! Mark showed up within 90 minutes of our call, added Freon to our old unit. We decided on complete replacement of our 20 year old system. Mark had quotes to us in 24 hours, and we got on the schedule for installation 2 weeks later. Our old AC leaked out the added Freon by Saturday night, not a surprise. Mark had told us that was a possibility. No AC in Texas in the August oven was unbearable. Mark was able to squeeze us into the schedule for Tuesday morning. Total replacement of AC and furnace accomplished by Tuesday evening, on time, on quote. Fernando headed the work crew and he was a total joy. He was professional, polite, and accommodating. Excellent customer service skills. Drop cloths protected carpet, no shrubbery or yard damage, no irrigation system damage, no damage to the house inside or out, and they cleaned up after themselves. Pattie handled the paperwork and communication and explained warranty, Mark was onsite to inspect and check in with us. How 'bout that? They did everything they said they'd do, on time, on budget, and cleaned up after themselves. I'm not fond of workers coming in and out of my house and I'll be the first to admit I am particular and was cranky from being hot and sweaty. I had NOTHING to complain about. First rate job and first rate service.

I found the owner to be terribly rude and felt the company provided terrible customer service. I eventually hired another A/C company and have not had any problems with my A/C since. Would never hire this company again or recommend them to anybody.

I had a really good experience with them. I called them back a couple of times for the little things that I wanted tweaked. They were right there. I was real impressed with them. I got 4-5 quotes. They were not the cheapest, but they offered a Trane with a really good warranty. I decided to use them and had a great experience. It was good. I had an excellent time with them. I had one little thing. I just wanted the door for the air filter to move a little easier. They just came right out and fixed it. I would recommend them highly. I would use them again if I needed to. The price was in the range of the other quotes that I got. They just had a better deal. With regard to punctuality, there was just one time where they had to run and get something. I thought that they were going to come back in an hour and it was a couple of hours. When I called them, they said they were on their way. It wasn’t a bad deal.

This is the second time I've called Awesome Air for help. A few winters ago the furnace went out and they repaired it quickly and reasonably. This summer my downstairs AC unit fails on the weekend. Of course weekends cost more for service calls, but I didn't want my family to spend any more time in the Texas summer heat without AC than they had to. I called Awesome Air and they were slammed, but because one of their crews was working close by and we were an existing customer, they came over to see if it was a quick fix. Before the crew arrived, Mark, the owner, called me back and asked a bunch of questions to get a better handle on what may have caused the AC to quit working. He said he would then call his crew and tell them his findings so they could work more efficiently when they got to my house. When they arrived, they took some pressure readings and tested some electrical components, and verified some of the same things that Mark had asked.  In the end, the old AC unit was 18 years old and although some parts could have likely gotten us through, I decided a new AC unit was the best answer rather than a band-aid approach.
We got things scheduled for the new unit's install on Monday (the lucky coincidence of a schedule change by another customer). My home posed some unique challenges the crew had to deal with and these things pushed the install longer than they anticipated, but they managed to get everything working and maintained their existing schedule. On top of that, they checked my upstairs AC unit, did a few things to make it perform better, and didn't charge any extra! Throughout all of this, they called to give me updates over the weekend and even afterwards to follow up and ensure everything was continuing to work with not only the new unit, but the upstairs unit too!
These guys are great. They communicate well, set expectations well, and basically over deliver instead of over promise. They will tell you straight what your options are and make sure you understand the details. In my case, the decision for a new unit was mine. They could have gotten parts to make the old unit work, but after 18 years of service, a new unit made all the difference. And after 1 month with the new unit, my electric bill went down $40 from the previous month - and the average outdoor temperature was higher!
Bottom line is that I would highly recommend Awesome Air to anyone who asks and will be using them again this fall to re-do the duct-work throughout the house.

The crew arrived on time and immediately began to remove my old system and install the new system.  During the installation, the crew unexpectedly encountered an *existing* leak in a pipe that had to be fixed before they could connect the new A/C unit.  The crew asked my permission to fix the leak and then fixed the leak at *no* additional charge.  The crew also had to run a new wire through my attic which they did at *no* extra charge.  The crew explained why this was necessary before running the wire.  Due to the unexpected leak and new wire, the crew had to work 2 hours longer than they expected, but they nevertheless completed the installation in a day as promised.  The crew was a pleasure and clearly knew what they were doing.  As a result, my family and I now enjoy a very comfortable home and are ready for the 100+ degree days to come in the summer.
Prior to selecting Awesome Air & Heat Service, I performed a thorough investigation of Lennox, Carrier, and Trane systems and associated service providers.  Mark Norton's prompt and thorough responses to my questions about the Trane system and his company's services as well as his very competitive bid made the difference.  I found Mark to be very forthright in his communications and extremely focused on satisfying me as his customer before, during, and after the sale.  In a word, this company is "awesome".   I highly recommend Awesome Air & Heat Service.

Mark and his guys are absolutely amazing.They have repaired  some really nasty situations with my A/C including my unit HVAC leaking condensation into my dining room. I now call Awesome Air every year for a summer A/C check up and any time I have an issue, for 3 years running. Today I called them at 5:10 to schedule my summer check up, and they answered the phone. Twenty minutes later I had a call back to tell me they had a crew in the area and could come now. By the time I got home (15 minutes later) his crew was sitting at my house waiting for me. They assessed my unit, and told me what needed to be done. They will be back tomorrow to clean out my condenser and charge up my 10 year old unit. We love Awesome Air and we will never use anybody else for service to our A/C!

This is our second review on Awesome Air. Since our first review two years ago, we decided to use Awesome for another new Heat pump for a building on our property last November. If there was a word to rate someone beyond outstanding, we would do it for Awesome Air. They have not only provided outstanding new air-conditioning / heating installation, but have also surpassed our expectations on "after the installation" maintenance and service. After November of last year, we had them come out a month ago to put in some additional ac intake vents. Like our experience initially, the ongoing service is absolutely top notch. While we have run out of units to replace, (and although I am glad we are done) I will use them again whenever service is needed and would refer them to anyone looking for professional, competent, honest service both before and after the sale. Anyone needing someone for a current AC/heating/or heat pump service must consider them first.

Warranty service provided on same day as my call!  I had a problem with the coils in my AC that was installed almost 4 years ago and the business owner went above and beyond the warranty service requirements to make sure that my service was prompt and ensure that I was happy with the results.  He has promised that if the issue still remains, he will ensure that any future steps toward resolution will be taken care of and I trust him implicitly.  The owner is a professional of high ethics and integrity.  He has over 35 years of experience and he uses his substantial knowledge to educate and help me find a solution to my AC or heating needs.  He is not a salesman and he fully stands behind his products and labor.   Wow!,  I will only use him for all my AC & heating needs.




UPDATE**
This is an update to the review I made on February 4, 2014, but since I am unsure as to how to best post,
I am including it as both a new entry and as an addendum.

On April 2nd, Awesome Air sent two competent and courteous AC technicians to remove my defective third party coil and replace it with a brand new Trane coil (at the time of installation, ~4 years ago, a Trane coil was not available in the proper
size nor SEER rating that I desired, and the AC needed to be restored ASAP so we used a third party coil).

Awesome Air fully covered all expenses for parts, labor, and then some more!  The owner of Awesome Air felt so bad that this
change-out had to be performed, by his own means, he obtained two different expensive coil cleaning and coil anti-fouling solutions to pre-treat the new Trane coil.  When I offered to pay for this chemical treatment, he adamantly refused any payment and said he was sorry that I had been inconvenienced.

With the newly installed Trane coil having been thus additionally chemically treated, the workers removed the Freon from my AC unit, switched out the defective third party coil with the new Trane coil, and recharged/topped off the Freon?all at no charge whatsoever!

This project went above and beyond that dictated by the warranty terms.  I feel it is only right to recognize Awesome Air for their incredible allegiance to the customer.  They are loyal and stand by their product 110% (my apologies for the cliché but in this case, 110% really does fit!).  It is a rarity to have such an honest, reputable, ethical, and professionally impeccable outfit to deal with.

Mark from Awesome Air called his crew while changing plans on vacation. They came out, found the problem, got the hard to find part for me on a holiday week and than came back and installed it.
My son and I have four rent houses and own the two houses we live in. Mark has been one of our most trusted contractors for over 15 years. We depend on Mark for fast service and honest pricing. Even when we need something that he does not do himself he has referred us to other top notch contractors that he works with.
I trust Mark and all I can say is that his service is "Awesome."

I am very happy to do business with Awesome Air when we need AC repair.  They were reasonably priced for the repair and we couldn't have received quicker service when our AC went out over a hot August weekend.

Mark and Patty came out within 24 hours of my call and arrived at the beginning of our appointed time slot.  They immediately fixed the problem and then provided a check of the entire system!  They even brought us a new package of batteries for the thermostat, demonstrated use of the thermostat, and gave us advice on how to prolong and maintain the system.  They have the rare combination of decades of experience AND true caring for their customers!
