They fixed my shoe and they have good value. I would use them again in the future.

They are great. They can be a little pricey. I had a fix for my boot come undone a few months later and took it back and they fixed it no problem.

Two pair of shoes had to be redone due to sloppy quality (still not high quality but I grew tired of dealing with this vendor). The third pair were misplaced so had to make additional trip even though I allowed several extra days from original promised completion date. Counter person was "nice" but offered no discount for sloppy work and misplaced shoes except to redo the two pair a third time. He was also unable to speak to what goes on with repairs as they are done at some other location other than the drop-off/ pick-up site. I have had shoes repaired for decades and this place is the poster child for where to not take shoes for repair. At least go to a shop where you are able to "eyeball" the person who actually does the repair. In a phrase... I suggest another shoe repair vendor.

The manager recommended replacing the metal fastener on side of the handle that didn't break also if I planned to heavily use the suitcase. He called me with an estimate of repair before he proceeded with the work. The handle seems much stronger now. Time and airport baggage handling will be the true test.

I was very pleased with the quickness and kindness of the service- plus no charge. I would recommend anyone to go see the 290 location of Austin Shoe Hospital with any of your shoe repair needs.

The work was excellent and my boots are good as new! The heels they put on have actually worn better and lasted longer than the original!

The quality of the work is excellent and they did not try to oversell. The price of this service has gone up since last time I needed shoes resoled, but it is still much less than a new pair of shoes.

I dropped off an expensive pair of shoes to be cleaned up and have the heel bottom replaced. I was surprised by how much it would cost to repair them, but they did good work and they seem to be the only ones in town. When I went to pick up my shoes at the Round Rock location on a Saturday, I was surprised to find a "closed for lunch, be right back" sign on the door. I waited for over 25 minutes for the clerk to return. To occupy myself I chatted on my cell phone with a friend from out of state. When the clerk walked in, I followed him, told him my last name, and he refused to help me until I ended my phone conversation. He kept saying sarcastically "No, You're busy, I'll wait until you're done". Very rude. I wanted to say "Listen, I just waited for you to finish lunch so give me my shoes!". Instead I set the phone on the counter, told him my name and picked up the phone after he finally agreed to get my shoes. They do good work, but pricey and rude.

Although a little difficult to access in heavy traffic, the shoe clinic really makes up for its location on 290 West. They can repair every sad story I bring in and make all my expensive German shoes from Karavel last a long time. Other tiny shops all over Austin.
