It went well. He inspected it and lets you know what he is doing and what he is looking for as he is troubleshooting. Unfortunately, in my scenario, he diagnosed it as needing a brand new running platform belt and the platform needing to be balanced correctly when that belt is replaced. That was something he couldn't fix on site for us. He researched the price of that belt while he was at our home and gave us the best online place to purchase it from. He also walked me through the steps I would need to take to install the new belt when it came in. And he was very thorough and answered all of my questions. When the new belt came in, I was able to install and balance it on my own per his instructions...even though he said I could call him if I needed some help over the phone. All of that was very very helpful. His prices are high...$90+ to diagnose/fix the problem, but there aren't very many options out there and he was the most professional and helpful when my wife was calling around. I highly recommend him for this type of repair job. He knows his stuff, at least for ProForm treadmills.

Mark was able to quickly diagnose the problem as bad motor bearings. He was able to rebuild the motor at a very reasonable price. Saved me from buying a new treadmill! The repair included a warranty that was better than the factory warranty on a new motor. I would highly recommend Austin Fitness Repair.

Tech arrived on time and explained the repair process. He also helped me with routine maintenance that I can do in the future.

He was engaged in wanting to get the product fixed. He gave us all the options, and suggested that we have additional parts replaced for the future. He explained everything to us and was able to get it back up and running again. It took a while to get the part in but he was timely in getting it in. It was an all around good experience.
