Services we offer
Cantera, We offer complete iron (Durango, etc.), there is a difference and complete garage door refinishing. All our work is performed onsite. We do not use polyurethane but instead use a quick drying imported product that enables us to put multi coats of a proprietary sealant with built in UV and mildew resistants in a short period of time., wood or fiberglass door refinishing not "reconditioning"

Excellent! even though we had deep scratches, they were able to refinish to look like new. They worked with us to closely match the color to what we wanted.

Extremely well. The worker was very knowledgeable of the work. Spent several hours making sure he had all the old wood varnish off and sanded it down to the bare wood. Stained the wood with a special finish. He did several coats of this. We were surprised it wasn't as shiny as it was before so he put on an extra coat to increase the shine.

They arrived right on time, removed the door and hung a tarp in its place. They stipped the door all the way down and refinished it. It looks like a brand new door. There is no way we could have gotten as nice a door new for the price we paid.

We were able to schedule the refinishing job within two weeks after making a decision to proceed. We provided some images so they could give us their standard pricing for a job of this size. Brian arrived about 8:30 AM, and was completely finished by 11:30 AM. Amazingly fast for the work that was done...taking the door down, providing a curtain shield for the open doorway, sanding down the door surface, applying new stain, sealer and door sweep, then getting the door back up and re-attaching all of the handles and latches again. Now we are on their list to "remind" us to get the door resealed every two years (about $50) so that we won't have to do anything as involved next time around!

I had originally hired another company to do this job, but was rescheduled too many times. I called Austin Door Refinishing the same day I decided to not go with the flaky first company. They responded to my email inquiry right away and were very accommodating about scheduling an appointment. Not only that, they stuck to the appointment!
Gerry arrived within the one hour window specified and refinished the door in about 3 hours. He was friendly and professional and seemed to really enjoy his job. The finish looks great! Although his price was higher than what was quoted by the first company, I would happily pay it again for the good experience and workmanship.

Door looks great! It receives a lot of sun, and was in pretty poor condition with some areas that had started to warp. Gerry did a great removing the old stain, sanding it and refinishing it with a colored stain.
