"Mrs. [Member Name Removed], Please know that I really enjoy my work and take great pleasure in providing my customers with the highest demeanor and quality of work. I'm sorry that we did not reach that standard with you. Per. the specifics of your review: 1) The "problem areas" were not in the agreement we agreed upon. The agreement called for an 8' tall Cedar Picket fence. In the middle of the project, contrary to the recommendation of your architect, Flix Fencing and myself, you decided to change the bottom 1/3 of the fence to heavy gauge wire panel. In an attempt to save you money and help the aesthetics of the project, we encouraged you to eliminate the stone at the bottom of the fence if you were going to change out the wood to steel paneling. Again, you went against our recommendation. The inability to securely fasten the panel made the fence more wobbly than it would have had you kept to the original plan. 2) The second problem area is an enclosure that you and your architect agreed upon with Flix Fencing. I was never in on the conversation. Apparently there are elements of that project that you are not pleased with but are holding me responsible. How can I be responsible for that which I was never informed of and was never in my agreement with you? 3)You stated that the site is now a safety hazard and that there are pieces of metal strewn on the ground...Well, that just simply is not accurate. The day you wrote this review, I came to your home and visited with you hoping for an amicable resolution. I walked through the property with you asking where the safety hazards were and where the pieces of metal were. We saw one fine piece of twirled up sheet metal shaving that obviously came from the General Contractor and not us. You yourself acknowledged that. I don't know if there is any way for there to be a remedy, but if so please let us know and to the best of our ability we would be happy to accommodate. Sincerely, Abey K. Bruce"
Met with Abey in early October to discuss possible ideas and solutions to landscaping problems & improvements. Abey gave me some great ideas and suggestions and later submitted to me his written quote. After exchanging a few telephone calls and emails, we decided on the final project.
As soon as the plants were obtained Abey and his crew went to work. The entire team was very easy to work, professional and expedient.
I would highly recommend Austin Creative Landscaping to everyone!! Abey is very personable, listens and conscientious!
Thank you Abey and your team for a "job well done"!!
I can't wait until the Spring to see the results of the pruning. I certainly would hire them again.
Before he started, Abey gave me a written description of all the work so there would be no confusion about the scope. While he was here I could tell he knew his stuff, because he knew the names of all my plants and the right ways to trim them. He was courteous and professional. He began the work and completed it they day he said he would.
