Prior to a several hundred mile trip, I needed my rear brakes checked that day. They found brake shoes down to 15% and drums were ok, but needed to be turned. This site has comfortable waiting area with WI-fi so the 2 hour wait was more than tolerable. Job done efficiently and delivered vehicle on time in a driving rainstorm. They parked car in their bay for my drive-away so wouldn't get soaked while the auto-business next door made their customers pick up vehicle in the rain. Nice thoughtful touch.

They changed my oil and they rotated the tires. They did good work and they also did the tire rotation for free.

I have had work done at this shop numerous times before on several different vehicles and have always been very pleased. On this occasion, I was driving my car down a hill and suddenly a chime started sounding along with a message saying to get the brakes serviced as soon as possible. Although the brakes were working fine as far as I could tell, due to the audible chime I assumed it was an urgent situation. I also assumed the car was due for a brake job since it had about 50,000 miles and had never had anything done to the brakes. The people at Brake Specialists thoroughly checked it out while I waited and found that the only problem was that the brake fluid was slightly low. They topped it off for free and that fixed the problem. They did not even try to sell me on getting a brake job, and in fact told me the car didn't need one yet. On at least one, and perhaps two previous occasions I have brought a vehicle to this shop thinking it needed a brake job (due to mileage) and was told that it did not. I very much appreciate their honesty, integrity, and quality work.
