AUSTIN'S QUALITY MAID SVC

She did a lousy job. The service was so gross that I would not recommend the mother or the owner, Donna. I think that was kind of sneaky and for 35 dollars an hour you should get a good job. If she had been anyone else I would have just paid her 6 dollars and said, "thank you very much." She left my house dirty. When I realized that her work was so disgusting I told her that her minimum 2 hours was up and asked her to leave. She left everything as it was and did not bother to put up the cleaners, the buckets, or the bags back in the bathroom. She sprayed something on the showers and did not even bother to finish that. I think that it is a rip-off job by the mother. They should have let me know that she was like that. When I called Donna back she told me that she had taken her mother to work with her on a couple jobs and thought that she was OK. I told her that her mother is not professional; 1. She kept going back in forth talking on the phone, and I told her for $35 an hour that was too much. The only saving grace with them was that she came back out the next day for an hour to clean by wiping stuff off, then she left. She told me that she was sorry that I was disappointed with her work. I had to redo the whole thing. I believe they just took advantage of me. Donna told me that she knew someone who was very good that could come out and do it, and she did not mention that it would be her mom. I would never used them again. They are too overrated for what they know and what they do. I told her repeatedly that I had gotten her name from Angie's List. The only thing Donna said was to get a hold of her mom and see if she would come back out and redo it for me.

Donna was an excellent housekeeper for us. We have recently moved but wanted to let other members know how good she was for us. She was always on time, never canceled or rescheduled without weeks of notice. We were always satisfied with the work she did and she did it for a fair price. We highly recommend her and her work!
