Rick is always dependable and is a pleasant person. He has almost always been able to help us and often will suggest options to save money or to extend the life of certain equipment etc. We have had multiple issues resolved by Rick in both our current home and our last home. We would use him again.

Rick is the owner. I have used him for more than 20 years. I was happy with the service. He shows up when he says he will. It is easy to book in. I don't have to pay him on the spot with the credit card or anything. He sends me the bill and I mail him a check. I like that. We have got a history and I don't think he does it for everybody. He is very dependable. He helps me plan stuff. He is very responsive. If he says he will call back then he calls back.

Rick had done some work on the water heater in my old home when I was selling it in 2013. He was prompt, honest and did a solid job.

When we were buying a new house in 2014 and some things came up on the inspection about the plumbing, I called Rick because I trusted him. I sent him the inspection report and was fully prepared for him to come to the house and of course I expected to pay him for that consultation service, but even after he diagnosed the issues he didn't charge me a thing! When we decided to replace the water heater completely in the new house, he recommended a company that he trusted, and they did an excellent job.

You can trust Rick to do the work he says he will, not overcharge you, and give you good advice!

The installation went fine - and I am very happy with the level of service. More work was needed than originally thought - as is common in a renovation situation.

I have a section of my sewer drain line that is cast iron. Roots can grow through the walls and slowly clog the drain. Periodically, I
need to have it cleaned by a professional with the proper equipment and skill to do this. Rick is easy to reach and will work with you
to accomodate the problem. In my case, it there was not an immediate need for his services, so we agreed on a later date for him to
come take care of the problem. He called before coming over to confirm that I was available at that time. He was able to access the
drain line through the stack on the roof, and didn't need to come inside except to confirm the drain was freely flowing after his work
was completed. I have used him in the past and always have been satisfied with his services. At some point, I will need to have this section of drain line replaced, and I will probably have Rick do the job.

My shower diverter was acting up. I called Rick on recommendations from many friends. He understood the problem, suggested getting the part under warranty and helped me figure out the brand and model from an iphone pic. Once I got the part, he showed up when he said he would, did the work beautifully. The real clincher for me was when he told me he was going to dissect the bad diverter to understand why it keeps failing. I love to see someone not only fix the problem at hand, but work to expand his understanding of the tools of the trade!

Rick was terrific to work with! I was selling my house and I was very anxious about fixing the items identified by the buyer's inspector. Rick came out for free before doing any work, inspected the conditions and answered all my questions patiently, then showed up when he said he would, and did the work competently. There were no surprise charges.
I'm buying a new house, and I've already contacted Rick to provide estimates on the work needed by our inspector. Love working with him!

He was fast and totally professional.

Rick, who is the entire company, is a real "keeper." This is the second time he's fixed something for me at no charge. He wouldn't charge me, saying he was "just in the neighborhood." Every time he has worked at my house, he arrives exactly when he's said he would and calls ahead when he's on his way. He's very thorough and willing to explain anything to me. He's patient about answering my questions on other minor plumbing problems besides the ones I've called him about. His prices are very reasonable. I found out about Rick from an Angie's Review about hot water heaters. I highly recommend Austin's Best Plumbing.

In addition to a good rating on Angie's list, this plumber was also recommended by a friend who is a roofer. I have previously had plumbers who were expensive and inefficient.
He came just when he said he would. Because my plumbing is old and complex and does not have convenient drain-clearance access, he first tried a smaller motorized snake. When that did not work, he used a much longer and thicker snake that he pieced together as he fed it in. This did the job.
He explained the probable cause as the gradual buildup of grease over the decades since this plumbing had been cleared, and recommended occasional use of a buildup remover to prevent recurrence. He seemed very knowledgeable about the issues raised by older plumbing. He will be my first choice for any future plumbing work.
He charged $125 for a bit over an hour of work, which I feel was very reasonable.

The work is top-notch. Rick, the mechanic, is very trustworthy. I've had to call them after hours, but they still showed up promptly.

My experience with them was wonderful.

Based on the recommendations of several neighbors I called Austin's Best Plumber. Rick came by that same day, took a look at my water heater, and told me that the regulator had failed. He further told me that the part that had failed was still covered under the manufacturer's warranty. He identified the part I needed, told me who I needed to contact to get a free replacement part, asked me to call him when the replacement part arrived,and left without charging me for anything. I called Rick when I received the replacement part several days later and he promptly came out and replaced the defective part at a very reasonable price. I was very pleased with Rick's service and would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a good plumber.

I have used Austin's Best for years. He is always on time. You never miss a half a day waiting around for someone to show up, he doesn't do that. He's not the cheapest, but he does quality work. He mostly works on his own, but he has a dispatcher, that gets on touch with you. He is very good about calling you back. I absolutely will use Austin's Best again.

Austin's Best Plumbing is appropriately named! I chose this plumber after checking Angie's List.
We recently purchased this home, which had been remodeled prior to the sale. The first time we used the spa tub ( which was newly installed as part of the remodel ), water leaked into the downstairs bathroom.
Rick was able to come out to the.house just 2 days after calling him and promptly discovered that the gasket in the overflow drain was never installed!
Besides being a nice guy, Rick is honest, provided fast service and charged a reasonable price!. What more can you ask for in a plumber!

Fabulous! Rick came out to fix problems left over from another plumber. Rick knew right away what the problem was and how to fix it. He scheduled to return later in the week with an assistant, and together they had it fixed and working in short order. Rick even came back out a third time to clear a partially clogged pipe that was also affecting the drain, and didn't charge for the last visit. It was a wonderful experience from start to finish.

Rick did a good job. I have used him for 30 years. He is a master plumber who trains other plumbers.

They are timely and professional. They do good work, but at times, the price can be steep; however, the quality of the work is very good.
