We had our deck replaced in March of 2013. The decking material is made out of Fiberon, but the posts and skirting are cedar. We were told to wait 3-6 months before staining the cedar posts and skirting to allow the wood to dry. When it came time to get the wood stained, we called two different companies. Both quotes were very close in price. We chose APJ Services to have the work done and were very happy with the outcome.
Allen (the owner) came out to take a look at our deck and gave us a quote. After deciding on using APJ Services, the work was scheduled the following week. Allen showed up with a few guys on his crew on a Thursday morning. Directions were given and they got to work. Parts of the deck needed to be covered and taped up so that the stain wouldn't get on the non-wood decking and metal slats. They did a great job of keeping everything neat and clean. The entire staining process was completed the same day. Allen came back by in the afternoon and noticed a few small spots that were missed. The next morning one of the employees came by and touched up the missed areas.
We were very pleased with the job done by APJ Services and will definitely use them for any future painting jobs.
