AM GRANITE

Ben was upfront from the beginning, explained the price, the quality for the price and what was involved. I could have paid a lot more and I would have gotten a little better product, but I was very happy with the finished product. Since I am very handy, I did some of the finish work myself, although I believe that if I had asked Ben to get it done, he would have. I told Ben from the beginning that communication was very important to me and he always returned calls and kept me advised about the minor issues that arose.

The price was almost half of what everyone else wanted, so we were very happy about the price. The only negative thing I have to say is that the granite had some small pits that we had to patch ourselves. The workers left us with the material to patch the holes, but patching up the holes is something I thought they should have done. However, they were very hard workers who worked through lunch and only took a break to eat supper because we insisted, having provided them with sandwiches. Overall, we are happy with the countertops. We knew we were getting the cheaper quality granite, but the little pits in the granite were something we weren't warned about. I would still recommend this company to anyone who wants granite installed at a low price. The owner was easy to get a hold of. I was always able to reach him through his cell and he always answered my questioins thoroughly.

They are here now and are about to leave. They are coming back to finish some stuff they didn't take care of properly the first time. They are back doing something that should have been finished 4 to 5 days ago. He was very smiley in the meeting and some of his workers are good but some of them really bad. He was not willing to take responsibility, even when I wasn't asking him to do anything. He was not being honest about a few things in terms of who is responsible for what. He was trying to shift the blame to other people and left the details of which not to deal with and his excuse was just garbage. So I was very dissatisfied with him individually. This person's name is Ken Ma, he owns the company. He was very friendly until it comes to dealing with truth. He admitted about his workers, which is why they are here, but there were few other things that did not impress me as a business person.
