Great job from start to finish. Very responsive when contacted for quote. Gave honest assessments regarding repairs required. One side of the house was in bad condition, now on completion looks like new. Great job, we are very pleased.

This is the fourth time we've used Keith. He always does impeccable work. He is very patient to make sure to get everything right. He graciously worked around our schedule and met all our deadlines, even working weekends to get the job finished on time.
Description of Work
During a move, he touched up our old house to make it ready to sell and then repainted the entire interior of our new house.

Provided excellent quality work that you rarely see anymore. Keith and Adolfo are old style professional painters. Not a drop of paint where it didn't belong. Extremely easy to work with and a pleasure to have in your home. Dependable, professional and hardworking. Recommend without hesitation.

Performed all needed preparation (e.g., caulk, repair drywall and replace rotted wood as well as cover floors and furnishings) and painted interior of home including all woodwork and ceilings. Moved furniture, etc. as needed to ready rooms and closets for painting. Re-hung drapery and re-placed furniture after paint was dry.

It was a very big task and they did an excellent job! I used Mark when we first moved into our house and I was pleased with his work so I got bids for exterior painting and he was right in our price range and his bid beat two other companies. His crew and he do a wonderful cleanup too. They were prompt, courteous and genuine. I liked working with them.

Power wash exterior of house and side building, cut out old caulking and recaulk, paint lintels over windows/doors, paint flashing, stain deck, power wash and stain playscape and paint whole exterior of house.

Keith did great work, as usual. This is the third time we've used him. He showed up on time, took care of getting the right paint color, and the finished job looks as good as new. He is very detail-oriented and his prices are quite reasonable.

He did another excellent job for us. He inspected the areas to be painted and caulked and sealed everything first, even detecting some water leaks and correcting those. The surfaces to be painted were wood, stucco, and metal, and he handled all those with equal skill. He also did some exterior staining. He pays attention to the details and makes sure there is nothing that might become a problem in the future. He has a great attitude and is a pleasure to work with.

This is the third time we have used Keith and his crew for painting and will definitely use them again in the future. They are always on time, always responsive, and do great work. Keith has also been quick to fix anything we weren't 100% happy with. Everything turned out great on this project and our rooms look fabulous!

They did a good job for me. There was one minor downside, they did not take credit cards. Otherwise, I was very happy with their work. They even repaired some screens for me that ordinarily wouldn't be part of their work, but he went ahead and did them for me which I appreciated.

Keith was amazing. He worked to solve every problem we threw at him, no matter how involved. He wouldn't give up until he found a solution. He was good-natured, patient, and considerate. He kept in touch very well to let us know when he was coming and how the jobs were progressing. The quality of his work is impeccable. He is a rare gem and deserves your business.

Keith did an amazing job and we were very pleased. He has an incredible attention to detail and integrity about his work. He takes his time, but also was able to estimate the schedule well and work efficiently. He hired skilled painters who were very professional. Everything was done in a very neat way and there was no mess left behind at the end of the project. There were many points where he could have done something in an easier way, but went the extra mile to do it the right way. The house looks a thousand times better now! We were very impressed with Keith and recommend him wholeheartedly.
Description of Work
Keith painted the exterior of our house, including doing some repairs to the wood exterior and painting a concrete porch. He repaired the siding on a screened porch and rebuilt columns in the front of the house, which had rotted at the bottom.

He and his crew had previously repainted the interior and exteriors of our home and done a fine job. He and any of his helpers do good solid work for a very reasonable price. Always low key and informal, he does exactly what he says with no fuss, for the price originally quoted with never a complaint, and takes care to ask and fix anything you're not happy with before leaving the job. In this instance the repair required a couple of new drywall pieces set in, cementing in the seams, prime and repaint. The walls in the room were already mildly and a bit oddly textured but he pointed this out and created a simliar texture on the repaired wall. Looked great when done, as usual. Keith is responsive - as I recall this as well as last time, he returned my initial call about the job immediately, was available to come out the next day to see what we needed to have done, provided an estimate by email promptly within 24 hours, and was available to start the job when we wanted/needed him. This reponsiveness and extremely fair price is why we chose him for the first job we had him do and the reliabilty, lack of fuss, and lack of sleaziness involved in dealing with him is why we'll continue to call him whenever we need painting done in the future.

Keith and his crew (2 other guys) were wonderful! 1. Very cordial and friendly; they spent at least a week on this large project 2. thoughtful: cleaned up each day before leaving 3.. thorough in their work: caulked EVERY crack, painting, and window wood replacement/painting 4. honest: Keith had to replace more window wood than he originally thought, but the price basically remained the same (he gave us all his receipts for us to add up to make sure we agreed with all his price). I called to get recommendations before hiring Keith, and the recommendations were as glorious as the ones I'd read on Angie's List: honest, reasonable, excellent work. We're glad we chose Keith!

He and his crew repainted our 2 story house covered in hardiplank, replaced rotten wood around windows, and repainted the railing in the front of the house. (They also generously removed about 12 tennis balls stuck in our gutter system on the second level!!!! This was not a part of the original contract but was extra as well as Keith's extra effort to help us in our attempt to repair our front door lock that WE broke (not them) during the painting of our house.)

This was about the most pleasant contractor experience I've ever had. Keith's price was reasonable and significantly below the other bid we received. He was there to personally supervise each day. The last painters we hired had done very little prep. In contrast, Keith and his workers spent a solid three days power washing, sanding, stripping, and caulking. The attention to detail shows. None of this exhaustive work was promised in his quote, they just kept working at it until all the wood was ready. On top of all this, Keith spent extra hours helping us repair some framing around the garage doors, although this was not part of the bid. It's clear that this person cares about doing a quality job, however long that takes, and won't short the customer in a rush to turn a larger profit.

Keith and his crew painted the exterior wood of our 1700 sq foot ranch house, shutters, brick along the front, and garage doors. The house was long overdue for repainting and had many areas where the old paint was chipped off or peeling.

Keith Allen, the owner, is FANTASTIC. So is Adolfo, his assistant. We can't say enough good things! The exterior of our house looks great. We spoke with a total of four companies and they all seemed nice- but without question, I recommend hiring Keith. His price wasn't the lowest, but it wasn't near the most expensive one. The quality of his work was top-notch. Our house went from a very light color to a dark one, so he had to do several coats in a number of places. Our house was built in 1935, so some of the siding wasn't in great shape. He replaced some and caulked others so that the paint looks great. Keith was also careful about materials-- he didn't want us to have to buy extra. So nice! A couple of weeks after the job finished, we noticed some white lines on the edges of the siding. Once the weather went from damp-ish to really dry, the wood shifted a bit and revealed different parts. We emailed Keith on a Saturday afternoon, he called us Sunday morning, and came by on Monday morning to fix it. We really appreciate that he was so responsive. Since then, there have been no issues at all. We are thrilled that we got our house painted for a fair price and with such quality work. Seriously- hire Keith!!

Keith and I used email as the primary communication tool before the work. He came out on a Saturday morning (to accomidate my work schedule) to gather the data he needed to provide the estimate. He promptly followed up with the estimate via email. At the time of the estimate his crew was not available for approximately 1 month so we penciled in a tentative appointment time. As it turned out, he was available on that schedule and completed the project in two days (one day to powerwash then let dry and the second day to stain). The pergola looks great and I am very happy with the work. The project did cost a little bit more than he originally quoted because more stain was required than he estimated. He said the wood absorbed the stain much better than he was expecting it to.

Price may seem high, but this is a house is a contributing structure to the Hyde Park Historical District. It was built in the early 20th century (1915+/-). Huge square footage of exterior walls (1 story but extremely high exterior walls). VERY, very complicated job on high profile house, requiring best work. Picked Keith from five quotes, three of which were HIGHLY rated by Angies List members (including him). His quote by far the best. It included lots of re-nailing of old siding boards, scraping, feathering, sanding, primer where required, extensive caulking, two coats, (3) colors, taped everything, cut perfect lines, made suggestions, filled some rotten places I didn't want replaced with something that dried and sanded like hard wood, spray-cleaned very steep metal roof (extra, but fair price), painted old screens a different color than windows and walls and trim, cleaned up each day, was cautious around exterior plants, etc., etc. Did an outstanding job. Was very friendly and professional, and just worked. We went from dark color to super light blue and it looks great. We were not the most decisive people, it took us months to decide - not on Keith...we'd already selected him (and not on price alone but because he wasn't cocky but his demeanor was quiet and unassuming when we met him) but on colors, etc., and he was VERY patient and always thoughtful. His price did not increase over the several months it took us to make up our mind. He schedules well, and when he started, he did not pull off the job for a moment. There was not a big crew of strangers, something we liked, but Keith and another professional painter. They worked diligently, asked questions, kept us informed, was very deferential to our privacy needs, etc. The job is just what we wanted and the neighbors, many of whom live in historic homes, were very impressed with the work. Most contractors want to put a sign in the yard and even tho we offered to let him, he doesn't do that. Not a big deal. They did not clean up their painting tools in our yard or in the street, etc. I will always call Keith for quotes on future painting (I have five other properties in Austin, none as complicated as this. If he wants to he can use my home as an example to show potential clients, and my name as reference. Of course, the ultimate test is how the job holds up over time, as is always the case with exterior house painting.

Kevin was prompt with an estimate. He had a good price for the work. He showed up on time and worked fast to complete the task before the next rainstorm. The finished product is neat and attractive. All waste was cleaned up and I was very satisfied with the service.

It was our first experience with painting a house as well as hiring painters, which meant we didn't know much about what we needed or what they needed. They were very patient with us, taught us a lot, and were trustworthy. Keith was always very responsive and professional when we contacted him. We were so grateful for the good work they did and look forward to having them back to do the rest of our house for us when we get to it!

Keith and Adolfo painted almost every surface of the first floor of our home, the stairway and upstairs hall. It was about six rooms in all, including trim and ceilings.
