I'm a real estate agent.  My seller was not able to find existing survey, which was made by All Star Land Surveying 7+ years ago.  I tried our luck by giving them a ring.  Within 30 minutes, I received an email with a copy of survey we purchased 7+ years ago!  Thank you for saving my seller $500!

They did a complete plot survey with spot elevations.

THEY SHOWED UP PRECISELY AS PROMISED. PERFORMED THE SURVEY PROFESSIONALLY AND UPDATED CHANGES MADE TO THE PROPERTY SINCE THE ORIGINAL SURVEY. WERE VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL. I WILL USE THEM AGAIN IF THE NEED ARRISES. AND I WILL RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE WANTING  EXCELLENT WORK.

I needed my property boundaries established so I could get accurate contractor quotes for replacing my fence on a rental property.  The survey was old and I couldn't find the stakes myself, so I contacted All Star.  Chris Zotter was my contact.  It took about a week to get them out, and they were supposed to call when they were onsite so I could inspect the work and pay them at they same time.  They staked the property, but never called me.  I had to contact them to make sure I hadn't missed the inspection, which I apparently had :(
Then I received a bill that was in excess of what I had been estimated.  The charge rate is $150 an hour, and the first quote (not Chris) was going to be $150, but based on the actual hours.  This price was inline with All Star's other prices I had seen on Angie's List.  It ended up taking 2 hours, so after taxes my bill was $324.75, no explanation or pre-emptive phone call, etc.  For this price I would have upgraded to a full blown survey.  Next time, if you say you're going to call, call, and if you bill more than expected, let the client know upfront.
Other than that, the markers look good, and I should have no problem with accurate quotes.

They did a great job. Other surveyors were only willing to do a complete survey which would cost 300 or 400. All I needed was one side of the property done. They came to the site on time, set up equipment and completed the job as required promptly.

Overall I was happy.  Initially I was reluctant to use this company because when I called the office I received kind of vague answers to how much it would cost and when they would come.  I was told it would be $150 an hour but not how long it could take; also, when I scheduled them to come out I was told it would be "sometime that day".  I asked if they could at least call me when they were coming and was told a note would be put on the job.  My friends joked that they would come out and lollygag to charge me as much as they could.  Well I'm glad I stuck with them.  The surveyor called me in the morning and told me when he would be coming and showed up when he said.  They showed up and were all business - started working practically the second they got out of the truck.  Marked not only the boundary I wanted but all for corners of my property in less than an hour.  Granted, this was an easy job, but they did it quickly and professionally and I was happy with the work done.

I had to get a survey for a house I was purchasing and hired All Star Land Surveying who were prompt, efficient, responsive, and affordable.  They sent the survey to the title company who were VERY impressed with the survey and complimented how well it was done, which speaks for itself as they see surveys all the time, and All Star has provided me with digital copies of the survey.

I would definitely hire them again.

Horrible! They did not do the work and the surveyors had to make three trips to our house. The receptionist had to call me back three times looking for my fax number. To be very clear about where I wanted the survey done, I did two things. First, I faxed them a previous survey (by the same surveyor, no less) with a big circle on it highlighting the area. Second, when the surveyors were here, I walked them around the area showing them exactly what I needed. They only completed less than 10% of the job and claimed they did not know about the rest of the area (despite my clear instructions).
