He was very nice and talkative. He was clearly very proud of his work, and was visibly not the type of person to take advantage. He definitely had a lot of integrity and strong sense of personal values. He doesn't have a storefront, so you have to meet him out in public, but he does good work. He did a great job on the repair.

He is marvelous and really a sweet person. He is very polite and knowledgeable. A great person to do business with. Very pleasant. I knew if I had any questions I could call him. I highly recommend him.

We have been using All City Sewing for over 10 years...he does great work and has been very honest as to whether a machine is worth repairing or not (he advised a few years ago that one particular machine should be scrapped for parts, as it was not really able to be fixed). I appreciate such honesty.

Johnny was great ... fixed my machine and said that I could call him anytime with questions. Very professional and prompt. Heck he even came to my residence to pick up and dropped it off the very next day!

I hadn't sewn in a while, my machine didn't seem to be working exactly right and I suspected the belt. Since it had been some time since it's last tune up I contacted All City. I'd used them previously when it was in a store on South Congress and was always pleased with the work. He no longer has a store and works out of his home. At his preference he picked the machine up and delivered it back which is a benefit. My machine is in a cabinet and has a knee pedal. After I got the machine back and he had left I realized that he had removed one of the electric plugs - the one for the knee pedal - and had not replaced it. I didn't want to wait another week for more work so I went to a hardware store for a plug and managed to replace it myself. I don't sew a whole lot, but the machine worked fine for a few months and then I started having problems. By August (only 5 months after the work was done) the motor would race, but it didn't sew. I was quite upset and decided to take it to another shop to see what they said. They tuned it, put on a different belt, drained all the old oil and put new oil in - work I had paid for in March. I believe that Johnny is honest and had I called him right away I believe he would have finished the work he started by putting the plug on. However I don't think he's as thorough as he used to be. In retrospect I'm not sure how he could have tested the machine if there was no plug for the pedal.

Fantastic! Use this service, Johnny is the best! He came out to my house and picked up my machine on a Friday and delivered it on Saturday fixed like new. He had to replace two gears. As my machine is older, it used plastic gears which he didn't have in stock. I was in the process of making something on a deadline, so needed it back quickly. He put nicer nylon gears into the machine and didn't charge me any extra than he would have for plastic. Just a charming wonderful man, and my machine runs like a dream. Will definitely be taking it back to him for future servicing. A+++

It was great. He came out to the house, picked up my sewing machine, called me as soon as it was done and brought it back.

He was very nice. Sending someone out to pick up my machine, ad he had the machine fixed and dropped back off to me the next day. He could have told me I needed a new machine, but he did not.

Called first to give me an estimate, gave free sewing tips (and recommended a better machine) and even dropped the machine off the same day. Honest, kind, conscientious. I'm glad my sewing machine broke, he made my day! He is moving locations, you can drop your machine off at a nearby fabric shop until he moves.
