Alice's Cleaning Service

SCAM! Do _NOT_ use!
We had the perform a "deep cleaning", they had to run to their next job so they didn't have time to do the walk through - they ran off the with check. I mean, there was still dirt on the floor, dirt all over and dust.  
By the time (about 10 minutes) we did the walk through and realized they didn't clean anything, they had already deposited the check?! (I guess they had time to do that before they had to be at their next appointment) So our bank could _not_ put a stop payment on the check since it had already been cashed by these scam artists. Can't believe they're even allowed to have an Angie's List profile, but I do see now that they simply changed the profile name to get away from their previous reviews.
Bottom line: Do _NOT_ use.

The service turned out fine. I did find that the microwave and a plug in the bathroom did not work after the service. I called to let them know and they said that it was already that way before the service. I was weary of using the service again after that happened. Everything was clean and they were nice to work with during the service but I have not used them since. They did let me know for future visits the cost would go up and I did not feel it would be worth it.

Very nice people who did a good job except that dusting was missed in spots.

Everything went well with them. They were top-notch, on-time, and did a great job. Three people came out and they were here for the duration of Big Deal. They cleaned and dusted the majority of the rooms, the kitchen, and the bathroom.

I bought a $99 coupon for 6 hours of house cleaning from Alice's Cleaning.  Steve was very personable and professional on the phone.  A three member family team came to my house on time and got right to work.  They listened carefully to my desires and were pleasant to work with.  The three worked for the 2 hours + a bit to complete the housecleaning.  Steve detailed the bathrooms, really making the dirty tub and fixtures shine.  I enjoyed working with the crew and would use them again.

They did a great job and we have continued to use them.

I contracted with them in response to an Angle's Deal. Six person-hours of housecleaning for $99. My house was really a disaster with months of accumulated dust and spider webs. Steve & Sandy cleaned and shined my kitchen, two bathrooms, and very long hallway and dusted and vacuumed the living/dining room, including ceiling fans and lots of pictures on the walls.  I want to have them come at least once a month.

I couldn't be more pleased with the staff and quality of the work performed by Alice's Cleaning Service.  They were prompt, professional and communicated effectively with me.  They started by walking through the house with me to clarify the work I wanted completed.  The three member team worked hard for two hours (6 person hours.)   When the work was completed, they had me walk through to see if I was satisfied.  I was HIGHLY satisfied.
I have a new black electric cook top that I despise as I never seem to get it cleaned.  It was spotless when they left! 

I love the reliable service and willingness to tailor the service to my needs.

They came to clean the first story of the home. It was a husband and wife that did the job. They did just an okay job. They were in and out and didn’t do anything extraordinary.

They did a great job and I even had them come back a couple times.

They were flexible with scheduling and did a fine job.  I don't remember the date of service provided, but I had to plug in some numbers in order to submit this evaluation.

Trying to contact them is like herding cats. It's just an exercise in futility. I would not recommend them.

They seemed more inteested in getting in and getting out in the two hours. I didn't really feel like they wanted my business in the future. Probably because they thought I couldn't afford them. It was the owner and his wife who came out.

Excellent, could not have asked for more! They are on time, thorough, use their own products which work very well, and are very pleasant to work with.

I have avoided writing this review because I am a business owner and know how reviews can affect business. Yet, although the cleaning was okay, how Alice's handled a problem after the cleaning was unacceptable and very unprofessional.
Cleaning was adequate. Unfortunately, the team accidently locked the door of the downstairs bathroom which could not be opened from the outside. When I called them to report it, they adamantly denied it. I am sure it was the team because, the bathroom rugs were left outside the room. When I discovered them, I went to place them in the restroom and found the door locked from the inside. An easy mistake to make.
I asked about Alice's liability insurance to cover the cost of a locksmith. The insurance company called me and said their client denied locking the door. I was left with the expense of hiring a locksmith.
As a business owner I know that, in an instance like the one I've described, you always.consider the side of the client. Alice's cleaning service basically called me a liar. I hope they have grown to understand the negative impact such a position can have on their business.

.The couple worked very hard, dividing up the work.  They cleaned my 2 story house from top to bottom and left it smelling good and looking good.

Seamlessly

I like the staff at Alice's and thought they did a pretty good job on my house.  They sometimes run late, but for me that was not a big problem.  Easy to keep in touch with and generally pleasant to work with.

These guys were simply great, and thorough.  I had some unusual cleaning requests (cleaning the over in the home of a severe smoker) and we were able to work something out very reasonable, and they did a great job.
