I think that it was way above expectations. It was somewhat of an emergency and they fixed it immediately. What helped me a lot with them was, they spoke English.

Very unprofessional service man kept trying to upsell and get me to tell him how much I was willing to pay since I was clearly in a bind. Basically, he said that I could pay or try to find someone else to come out that same day. He only changed a single spring without looking @ any other parts of the door since everything had an extra charge including a small o-ring. He asked to use my bathroom which made me more uncomfortable. When I called the manager later about the cost and the behavior of his tech, he just said that they never claimed to be the cheapest in town and that he would talk to his tech about not using the restrooms in clients' homes. I would never use this company again and makes me doubt the validity of Angie's List.

They did a great job. They fixed it very promptly, very well. The pricing was very fair. I was very pleased. I've used them two or three times. Aside from the fact that they showed up when they said they were going to show up, they explained what they were doing and then they did what they were going to do.

The person who called the day before the scheduled visit was rude to me on the phone. The person who came for the installation had a very unfriendly edge. Unfortunately, before the invoice was prepared, I forgot to give him the $55 Angie's List coupon. When I brought it to his truck, he looked at it and told me it was for repairs only, not a new install. Nowhere is this specified in the coupon, which indicates "any service".

I was not very impressed with their service. They have a coupon on Angie's List and then they charged me a lot of money for a replacement part. They said that the call and installation were $30, but the part is $150 and that part on Amazon is like $20, so they just charged way too much. On top of that, I tried to get them to honor the Angie's List coupon they had on there, and he got so pissed off at me because he had already given me the price. I wanted to apply the coupon and he didn't want to take it. He wanted $180 and I told them they needed to honor their coupon. If you don't want to honor it, then don't have it listed on Angie's List. He said I'd have to pay the $30 service fee for coming out. I needed to get the garage door fixed. So I ended up giving him $150. They shouldn't have given me a bunch of grief about honoring their coupon. They shouldn't have it if they are not going to honor it.

Service was excellent from start to finish. Courteous and responsive and scheduled an appointment for the same day. Explained what the problem was and recommended how to keep it in good working order. I was impressed and recommend them.

He was professional but the garage doors started having some problems now & I had to call them back. He suggested an extra steel bar to go across. I open and close it a lot because I work from home. I use mine quite a bit. I pressed a button and the garage door started going up & it started going all the way up and I started backing out and I brushed it. It damaged my car. All he did was place some bracing on it and changed the wheels. He said if I have any problems I call.

I asked for an estimate to repair a broken lock on a garage door. They called me with the estimate and offered to sale me a remote for the Liftmaster. They said the remote I had already purchased was the wrong type and could not be programmed. I have a tenant in the property and they needed a second remote. I agreed to the 322.00 fee though I felt it was inflated. I was told I had to provide a credit card before they did the work. I do not believe I should have been asked for full payment before the work was performed. When I spoke to the manager later to voice my concerns, he said they usually require a "deposit" up front. I also explained to him that my tenant was able to program the original remote I ordered on Amazon for half of what Action charged and I was sold one by this company unnecessarily. He offered me a 10% credit that I have never received.

Side springs broke on 18 year old garage door. Met installer at my house at agreed upon time. Installer explained what needed to be done, we agreed on project to replace extension springs with a torsion spring along the front wall. He got to work and 45 minutes later the door works better than before it broke. Good job.
