I called early in the morning and spoke with Ginny.  She said she could have Robbie come after one and quoted the price of the service call plus the replacement spring.  She promised after 1:00 and a call 30 minutes prior.  
About 12:20 Robbie called.  He arrived quickly and began working.  He wastes no time.  He removed, replaced and adjusted the spring.  He checked both doors and lubricated all the hinges and the screw drive on the older one.  He had replaced the opener on the door the spring was replaced three years ago.
He is efficient, quick and polite.  Gone at 12:50!  Ten minutes before he was supposed to arrive.  
Happy client!

When I made the appointment, I was given a price estimate, a 3-hour time frame of when they'd come out, and told I'd receive a call 30 minutes before they show up. They did come within the 3-hour time frame and called before they came out. Bobby, who has been fixing garage doors for over 20 years, was very professional, and fast. He had the spring replaced and the door operational again in less than 30 minutes!! There was no mess left behind to clean up, which is something I really appreciate.
I really can't say how Access Door System's price compares to other companies. My friend that put me in contact with Access Door said they would charge a fair and reasonable price. The final price paid was just a few dollars short of the estimate that was given to me over the phone. Note: I was able to tell them what the problem (broken spring) was with the garage door when I called.
I'm very please with the service I received and highly recommend them to everyone.

Major savings, as we thought we'd have to totally replace both units and I really wanted them to last thru this last tenant so that we can totally replace them w/designer line stainless and glass door units when we move there, to which I've already lined up ADS to do that job for us in 2013. As a designer I've already referred ADS to 2 other clients in Austin, TX (and they were very happy too!)
It didn't start out well, as I had driven up from Houston to meet the installer and had to wait quite awhile past our scheduled appt, but he did keep in touch (as he was extremely delayed on a previous job that his office had accidentally sent him to ahead of our job which was scheduled for over 1 week) and once he showed up @ 4:40pm (schedule was for noon!), he worked until dark to finish so I could drive straight back to Houston. I'm a design and remodeler and I can say Robbie was a very diligent and knowledgeable worker.

They arrived when they said they were going to and they identified what was broken. I like that he was straightforward. I had one spring that was broken but the other looked like it could break soon and he suggested that I have them both replaced so that I wouldn't have to pay another service fee when that spring finally breaks. I don't really know how their price compares.

From our initial phone call to Access in which we described the problem with our garage door, we were told they could probably fix the door rather than replace the whole door. They gave us an estimate. We scheduled a time for them to come, they came on time and made the repair quickly and the final bill matched their estimate. They did a good job and we would use them again. Prior to calling Access, I contacted another company that told me over the phone the whole door would have to be replaced and it would cost $500. I'm glad I shopped around.

I have hired Access Doors 4 times since Sept. 2005 and each time they are prompt, courteous, and do an excellent job.
