Above The Rest Roofing

Paid for the roof 1/18/2017...Now 5/24/17 and still no roof. I haven't been lied to this much since the presidential campaign. Give you dates never show or call. You call and get nothing but excuses, give you a new date just to get you off the phone. After Mr. Ennis came out to measure he began to tell me that the deal was for 1 story only (not true) and that it would probably cost more. I sent him the deal and he still asked if I could pay $300.00 more. Should have known then that there was a problem. Hoping for a good outcome.

When schedule change multiple times due to rain, Mike was very understanding and reduced the final cost.

After a couple of more messages, finally spoke with the owner Mike Ennis. He apologized and offered to come out that day, but I explained to him that if I cannot get reasonable communication before the project, how is it going to go during the install and if I have any issues after. Cancelled order.

My roof looks great, and it no longer leaks. Mike's crew was very professional and proficient, and they were kind enough to accommodate my schedule. They started later in the morning because I work evening shift and sleep later into the mornings. They left the area around the house clean, and checked the grounds to assure no nails were left. They shortened the rafters of the dormers and installed the flashing the builders had not bothered to install. Mike also had them replace a missing piece of hardy plank on the back of the house that had gotten blown off. I was extremely pleased with the work, and hired him again to replaced damaged base boards and door trim inside in which I was also very pleased with the result. I will definitely call him for future needs.

It went "fair." I thought I was getting a local person given the address, but this person seemed to be contracted by that company at the last minute and he drove from over an hour away from my place (from around Waco I recall). So, of course he arrived an hour or so late. He was also given the wrong street address and it took him a while to realize that even when I was in the street trying to flag him down. He apologized very much for all of this and none of it seemed to be his fault, so I place the blame on the service itself and not the worker. He also had a tiny car and a fold out ladder to get to the roof. Looked pretty shaky to me and I was concerned that it might collapse. He went up there and was working about 20-30 minutes. He said that when he was done everything looked good and was all maintained. I didn't go up to check. Very nice person to talk with, but I really didn't feel that I got my money worth in the end, given the length of service, the delays, and the lack of professionalism. I'll try elsewhere next time.

After two failed attempts to secure a roofing company interested in only performing maintenance vs. roof installation, I was very pleased with my experience with Above The Roof. The roofer was very accommodating to my schedule and was respectful in his interactions. I would recommend this company to others seeking the same service.

Spoke to him on Monday, scheduled an appt for Tues. Tuesday morning he calls and tells me he's in Louisiana and can we reschedule for Wednesday. Sure, that's fine. Wednesday, he calls and tells me he's still in Louisiana. He said he'd have someone name Patrick come by. Due to my time commitments I told Mike he had until 2 to have someone come to my house. At 2 I receive a phone call from someone still in Killeen. I tell them to skip it and I'll go with someone a little more eager for my work. They didn't seem to care one way or the other.

Above the Rest Roofing and Construction exceeded all my expectations. They were fast courteous and professional. The roof was excellent and looked better than when I purchased my place 10 years ago and the paint, with the colors they picked out gave me some much needed curb appeal I am a retired disabled veteran and they honored my service to my country by taking great care of my house. I will recommend them to everybody I know. Thank you Doug

My experience with the company and staff was very professional. I really like the fact the kept the area clean and after they were done went over everything to make sure there wasn't and nails left behind.

Mile quickly repaired the leak and inspected the rest of the roof, making repairs as needed. He gave me a report on the condition of my roof. He was very professional. I'd use him again.

No complaints. Roof was repaired in timely manner and I no longer have any problems with it.

Mike was great. He came out promptly and repaired the leak in our roof. Once he started the repair he noticed the damage was worse than we thought. Despite this, he still completed the repair within the originally agreed upon price. There were a few other spots on the roof that could use some patch work and Mike went ahead and took care of those as well, finishing those extra items up even as it started to rain again. We were very satisfied and we plan to use Above the Rest Roofing to replace our roof when that time comes.

I had a leak in my roof, I called this company they came out quickly and replaced my roof and did an outstanding job!  I was satisfied with the work and the time it took to come out and replace my roof. I highly recommend calling them!

They were very quick and thorough with the bid. They came in below the cost of the other contractors. He did an excellent job on the roof and got it done within the timeframe that was on the bid. There were no extra charges everything was great. We will use MIKE Ennis with above the rest roofing for all our roofing needs.
