A Plus did a fabulous job! They were so careful removing the decking that I only had to replace one board and the screws! The deck looks great! Every member of their staff was very courteous, responsive and friendly! Katy was especially getting everything coordinate and scheduled quickly!

Walter did a great job. I would definitely use them again.

Walter did an excellent job, we were very pleased with the work. Walter was very courteous and professional; he kept us apprised of his progress and when he needed to return to the office for additional equipment he explained why prior to leaving. He returned promptly, completed the task and made sure everything was cleaned up prior to leaving. All in all, a job well done, thanks!

Walter did a great job filling in an area above the fireplace that had an inset that I didn't want. I wanted a flat wall. He carefully completed the project and floated too. We are to add the texture later. Walter was fast and professional. Would defintely use A-Plus and Walter again.

Called about 10 minutes before due time and said was running late. Then called again 45 minutes later and said need to reschedule. Changed the date of original service claiming incoming bad weather. Weather did not come in until 5 hours later. Service eventually provided but there were several days of good weather before they came.

The A-plus administrative people were great. The painters were not professional painters and didn't even come close to showing up on time or doing what they said they were going to do. Not that they were bad people but for what I paid and the hours worked, not much was accomplished. Got another professional crew in and they knocked it out in no time and were real pros. I feel sorry for guys like this, at least they are trying to make a living. Bottom line - if you get the same crew I did; you are not getting pros.

Went very well. He did exactly what I asked him to do. No more, no less. The gate was my main problem and he repaired it so that it now opens easily.

3/12All of the people I have dealt with in this company have been very professional and courteous as I dealt with them. Their prices wer efair and reasonable for the work done. Since buying the intial deal on Angie's list, I have had them do other work, including exterior wood repair, painting, etc and everything was done correctly, on-time and I am just as happy with the additional work as I was with the initial work. I highly recommend them.

I have used them at my home and at my rental properties. They continue to impress me with their punctuality, professionalism and responsiveness. I think they do quality work, and I think prices are fair though I don't have a lot to compare them to. Cons: Some of the technicians seem more communicative and professional than others.

I had some small, but important jobs that I needed done in a tight time frame. I looked on Angie's List and saw the name of A-Plus Energy Mgmt., Air Cond & Home Solutions. Needless to say, I was overjoyed to see the name of a trusted and respected service provider that we have done business with for over 30 years for our air conditioning and heating services. That A+ has ventured into the area of home solutions seemed to be the answer to a prayer because we have reached the stage in our lives that we need a company we can trust to do the small and large jobs we can no longer do for ourselves. I called A+ and Katie at A+ responded to my request for service in a "can-do" manner and promptly scheduled my appointment for that same day. Later that afternoon, Kevin, a service technician, came out to do our job. He arrived on time and was very pleasant. After we explained what we needed done and showed him where to do the work, we left him to it. Kevin was a very efficient and thorough worker. I was impressed that he double checked each phase of his work and when I commented on that fact, he said that he always thought ?it was better to do the job right the first time? - my sentiments exactly! Kevin quickly changed out the door knobs and deadbolts ( two of which required some adjustments) and went on to install the window blinds. At all times, Kevin displayed a positive attitude and worked hard to ensure that he completed our projects to our satisfaction. Kevin did an excellent job in completing our projects in a timely manner. This experience was an eye-opener ? instead of being stressed about projects we are unable to do or putting them off to some unknown time in the future, we can prioritize our projects and call A+ to schedule the number of repair hours we need or request a quote. The fees for A+ are reasonable and by using A+ we are getting our pending projects done, decreasing our stress, and saving time and money in the process! The added advantage is that we can deal with people who have proven, over time, to be worthy of our trust.

Great. Kevin worked very efficiently and explained what he was doing. He also told me how to take care of new garbage disposal.

He showed up early, did exactly what he was hired to do and cleaned up. Professional, timely and effective.

Kevin arrived on time to power wash. His work was meticulous; carefully cleaning all of the fence. It took parts of 2 days for this work. Fence looked great after wash. Walter came on time and provided a nice, even coat of water sealer. Both his and Kevin's customer service were outstanding. Katy scheduled the service and called several times to coordinate with weather forecasts to assure that the work would not be compromised by rain. She also let us know the status of Kevin and Walter's arrival. Loved her friendly demeanor. The service was great, quality work, timely responses. Would definitely use them again and have already recommended them to others.

Once again, AMAZING SERVICE! I will only use this company and will request Kevin for all my carpentry/handyman needs. His attention to detail, care and concern, and professionalism are greatly appreciated!

I have given the particulars above in what the provider did.

Everything went well except for the dimmer.. It won't dim now and is stuck on either off or half lit.

Kevin did take his time in making sure that everything was working properly and not leaking, however, had he used the plumber's tape to begin with when hooking up the new sink and faucets, I wouldn't have had to pay for an additional hour. I had provided all materials so he did not have to go get any supplies, and anything that was needed, I immediately went to the store to purchase the needed materials. Kevin did a good job. I question his skills as far as hooking up plumbing. I provided plumbers putty and plumbers tape. He did not use the tape when he hooked up the water lines. He relied on the copper crimping clamp which allowed water to leak once it was hooked up. Kevin then had to spend time cutting the copper clamp off, using the tape and then rehooking the lines. At that point, the water did not leak.

I called in advance and gave them my CC to pay for materials. The handyman did the job to the satisfaction of my tenant, bought the materials for a fair price at Home Depot, provided me an itemized receipt from Home Depot so I know they didn't gouge me on the material cost, and did it all for the 3 hours time I had paid for without surprise extra hours. Katy was easy to deal with on the phone, via Angies messaging, and via email - professional and courteous. I will use them again. Their website claims they are Austin owned and operated since 1977. Everytime I called, messaged, or emailed I dealt wiht Katy which was nice.

scheduling the appointment was easy - office staff was very pleasant and helpful. had to schedule a week out due to the popularity of the angie's list deal. the technician was prompt, knew how to complete the installation and was careful to keep everything clean and organized. i would definitely use them again!

The gentleman was very polite and thorough in his work. Everything was done very professionally and I had only one small complaint. He wanted to install the lighting in a way that would make it more secure, but doing so required a quick trip to home depot to pick up a package of $5.00 molly bolts, which I expected to pay without doubt. At the end of the service call, he informed me his company told him he would have to charge me an additional $25.00 for the trip to home depot. I didn't ask him to do this, and was not told upfront they would charge this, and even though it is not a huge expense, I didn't feel it was right to charge without upfront notice. Not a good practice for a company to get into if they want to continue to get good reviews. All in all, I would recommend the company, just ask for all costs upfront.

I was very impressed with them and hired them to do a couple more things for me. I trust him to be in my home.

The contractor provided layout ideas and a drawing as advertised. We have had excellent service from A+ in the past for A/C services so we would recommend them for that service. The home remodeling service is very good as well. They gave us a reasonable bid and their crew does excellent work. We will use them in the future.

I knew that the original offer wouldn't cover what was necessary to shore up my fence. The folks were professional and timely. They gave me a quote for the additional work, which was fair and they did a very good job. They even accidentally cut into my wireless dog fence. After I notified them, they found the break and repaired it. I was very satisfied with the work they did.
