Had a lot of little things that had been piling up, and he did them all. Doorknobs keep coming off, and they're super old but he put some gorilla glue on it and so far so good! Also swapped out a light fixture which works well.

The whole team there is courteous, prompt and professional. We had a minor issue and they made it right immediately. We had wonderful experiences with Katy in the office, Josh the estimator, Eric the contractor, and Chris the handyman.

Initially, I was contacted in a timely manner to schedule my service. However, Only one guy arrived and he did half the work one day and then kept rescheduling to do the other half of the time I purchased. Turns out the guy doing the job was just a contractor. The deal I purchased only included 1 guy for 8 hours or work with no equipment. Felt a little ripped off to be honest. I will say that everyone was very friendly throughout the process. But communication between the contractor and A plus was pretty ridiculous. They called me assuming he did the job in one day and did not know he had left after 4 hours. So overall, nice people but don't waste your money and time with these guys.

We weren't happy with them. We had to have them come back a second time. The gentleman that came didn't do something. But, I called and they came back and brought two people with them. But they were good. The equipment was bad. The gentleman showed up without a lawn mower. He had to go back and get a lawnmower. He complained that the blades were dull. The second time around, they came with a blower that broke and a weed whacker that was broken. So, I wasn't that happy. I would never use them again. But, I made them come back and do it right. I had to be with them for two overs. But, I tried to make sure that they did it right. I would never recommend them. They charged me extra for the lawn mower. It was $25 more for the lawn mower.

Everything looks great. There were a bunch of small projects we weren't getting to in the yard and they took care of them all. We are very satisfied.

Chris and Walter were terrific. They showed up on time and started working as soon as they arrived. It was a hot day and hard labor, but they both worked straight through the four hour time block, even refusing to take breaks when I suggested them. They did a real quality job, attaching the edging to other edging with screws, straightening one difficult connection with a piece of pipe and mending a disconnected corner from an earlier installation by a different company. They had a good selection of power tools to cut and connect the edging cleanly. Apparently they both do a variety of different types of work with A-Plus and didn't mind applying their high-level skills to my landscape work. The end results are nothing short of perfect. I couldn't be happier. Great guys and a great experience!

The gentleman from this company came to my house to pull weeds. He was punctual, professional, and courteous. It is always nice when you find a service that you look forward to using again.

The work was fine but the guy left a broken light bulb base in the ceiling fan he installed and I still haven’t been able to get it out. And he did not tell me that the light bulb was broken. Barring that everything was fine. He got the job done. He was polite. But I wished he would have just told me that the light bulb was broken and the base was still stuck in the fan.

Using an Angie's List offer, we needed our 9-10 year old fence repaired. The fence is old but we just moved into the house very recently. We hoped to repair the rickety fence, paint it and encourage the fence to hold up for a few more years. Chris arrived when expected. He replaced a number of pickets and shored up places that needed to be secured. One location needs a rotted post replaced with a more sturdy version. Chris explained the process which involves a couple of visits and he quoted the price. All in all the work was done to our satisfaction and in a very timely manner. We appreciated that he addressed our options regarding new fencing versus maintaining and painting the one we have. We never felt he was pushing us at all. It was simply a discussion.

Chris was prompt, professional, personable and knowledgeable. The formal living room has a 14-1/2 ft. ceiling, so removing the ceiling fan and installing a chandelier was a challenge using a ladder, but he did it! The work was performed within the time frame estimated in the quote and the price was exactly as quoted. I was very happy with the work performed.

Save yourself money, time, and your own sanity and do not hire these people. First, the painter did not show up Monday 9/14 as scheduled. After waiting around for an hour for the painter to show up, I got a call saying no one was coming to paint. They rescheduled for Wednesday. I waited around for 1 1/2 hours this time for the painters to show up. The paint job on the two rooms is terrible and not 'professional'...I am more of a professional painter than these guys are. White spots, uneven distribution of paint, uneven lines at the ceiling, and visible paint lines on all the walls. They painted one coat (no trim/baseboards were touched) and Josh the manager called it "a great job". It's so great that I have to repaint the two rooms. I was told I could get a discount on paying for the rest to be finished. What a joke, I will never pay another dime to this company.

Very personable service person. Very careful. Removed the fan and wall controller, removed the blades and put it in the box for the . chandelier without being asked. I will be able to install fan in another location without worrying if there are any parts missing. . Took time to make sure I was happy with the height of chandelier. Very Good experience

Great experience. From my initial conversation with office for scheduling (which they did contact me before I could call them) to the actual install. A+ service all the way around. I would highly recommend these guys.

Back in 2010, I hired A-Plus to install a Lennox HVAC system for my condo. They provided extensive details on the available models and helped me to choose the best option for my needs. The installation went perfectly, and to maintain the warranty I have had the system checked and maintained by A-Plus since then. Debbie has been my contact when I called in to make an appointment for most of those years. I've also talked to David who does the dispatching, and he's terrific to customers. All of the technicians have been great: always prompt, kind, thorough, etc. I especially like to see Angel when he comes to check out my heating and air-conditioner. They have (to my knowledge) never tried to up sell me on anything, but always correctly diagnosed any problems and arranged for a repair asap. When the problem of the coil replacement came up, Angel diagnosed it, and put in the replacement. A class action suit against Lennox for the faulty coils came up, Debbie efficiently helped me to understand the legal and air-conditioning lingo that was confusing me on the claim submission form. I had all the forms and numbers, but Debbie's extensive knowledge of the business and her extraordinary customer service assistance allowed us to quickly get everything done perfectly. I may be moving within my condo community in the next couple of years and need a replacement heating and air conditioning system. Without a doubt, I will be calling on A-Plus to do the job!

Robert was very nice. He did an excellent job in my yard.

The office personnel were super nice and eager to see that I got the job done within the timeframe that I needed. The "handyman" was polite and knowledgeable about everything he did. He used care and did every job skillfully. I will definitely use this company again in the future.

They exceeded my expectations. They arrived on time, were very professional, very competent, and worked well with me. I have already purchased 2 more "big deals" from these folks. They perfectly suit the needs of older people who have slowed down and cannot do household chores that once were no problem. I think their skills go way beyond this and intend to test that out with some sheet rock repair. The company seems to be well managed. Telephone calls get a quick response.

Helped to identify parts under warranty and those not. OK price (typical for AC repair). Very responsive. Helped us deal directly with Lennox for the warranty parts and compatible coils. Left a little bit of a mess in our garage after access the attic.

This review is more about the company, vs. the person sent to do the work. As noted in other reviews, the service person arrived without being informed of needing hand tools (non electric). He had no tools, at all. I made sure I noted with the company what hand tools would be needed, this was ignored. Not even a shovel. Since it's August in Texas, I asked the company to please send two people (as allowed in the deal) for 4 hours each, equaling 8 hours total. They could not honor that portion of the deal, and sent one person for 8 hours. He needed to come back over two days, due to heat, so that was very unexpected, but anticipated. The company openly admitted they were selling too many deals to adequately service and respond. In general, it was apparent the company is a mile wide, inch deep on different services offered. The personnel can't possibly be expected to know everything, and they seem little informed to do the job prior to being dispatched.

Kevin did an excellent job on the doors. He made several adjustments to the double pocket doors and replaced the hardware. He had to remove the finish molding top and side to lift out the single pocket door. He replaced the hardware on the single pocket door and reinstalled the finish molding top and side. He swept the floor when he was finished. We were very happy with the work that Kevin did for us.

The young man who did the work did a nice job. He was a good worker. I find it a little disturbing that in the heat of July he was dropped off to work for 8 hours. When I made the appointment, I asked to talk to someone about a future landscaping job. There was no followup on that request. Lastly, this was not a "special deal". The company barges $30 an hour to do this kind of work. So I saved $1. I think this is misleading.
