I purchased the material. The contractor replaced the old siding. We talked during the process so I could complete my task (replacing adjoining components and painting the house).

He worked for 3 days and then billed me an additional $1500.00 on top of the $1300.00 I had paid Angie's List. The work they did okay. They are responsible and give good advice on the project.

Everything went smoothly. Was quick, cleaned up afterwards. No issues. Will use again.

Contacted them numerous times to schedule work. Heard back once and then they disappeared. Followed up two times without receiving any further response.

Overall we were very pleased. Kevin had a great attitude, was very friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable about everything we asked him to do. I would highly recommend Kevin for all of your handyman tasks!

He was very professional. Completed fixing two gates and replaced pickets in the deal. He also installed extra ones that we had and tightened a screw on our ceiling fan on the way out. Would definately use again.

I called to get an estimate for installing A/C ducts into the garage in June. I was told that I had to pay $75 for an "audit", which I did. I was pleased with the information provided, as well as the quote. When I asked how far ahead they scheduled he said 1-2 weeks, but that mine would be nice because it was inside. So in case of rain, they could easily work on mine. I also called and asked for a quote to remove an attic fan, rather than just close it off as originally recommended. Turns out that was a separate department. Still so far, so good. Because of my travel schedule I was not able to set aside time to have the work done until early August, so I called in mid- July to schedule it. I called on Thursday and talked to "scheduler A" who schedules the A/C work. She said she did not have the quote and would need to get in contact with Greg, who had done the audit. He was to call me back. On Tuesday I called again and got "scheduler B" who handled the attic fan quote. She said she would need to coordinate with scheduler A in order to set up a time for me and would call me back. Scheduler A called me back and said they had been slammed with trying to install A/C for people who didn't have it and was sure I would understand. She said they were running behind on A/C installs - because of the rain! But she had given Greg my paperwork and he would contact me. On Wednesday I called again and talked to scheduler A who assured me Greg would get back to me. When I expressed my displeasure at having to call multiple times to schedule work for which I had already paid for a quote, I was told she would contact Greg and have him call me. She called back and told me Greg would get in touch with me on Thursday morning as time permitted so that he could come by and measure for the work, have me sign the quote (which I had done originally) and try to schedule the work. Again, she mentioned how overwhelmed they were with trying to provide A/C for those without - and was sure I would understand. After all of this I discussed it with my husband and we decided that the confidence we had originally had in A Plus was gone and we would look for another contractor. So first thing Thursday morning I called to tell scheduler A that we would not be using their services. Within 10 minutes Greg called me back and began to tell me about how much he cared about his customers, but that he was sure I would understand that those without A/C would get priority. And that after all, I had sat on the quote for a month before calling to schedule the work and now I expected immediate action. And the rant went on from there! Finally, without having been able to get a word in, I quietly said "Obviously this is not going to work out for either of us. Goodbye." and hung up. He called me back twice, then finally left a message telling me how rude I was to hang up on him! Not once did I ever insist on immediate action. All I wanted to do was schedule work. But after a week of not being able to do so, I felt it much better to cancel the relationship. I already have another contractor coming tomorrow - without charging me for a quote!

Everything went fine. They did good work. I did pay $150.00 more for adding a post. I would have preferred to only have to pay $100.00 extra. They were already here and they didn't have to do all of the work that was detailed in the deal.

Awesome! I'm going to have them back for a whole day of handyman work! I have blinds to install, some light fixtures to be put up in the garage, a vanity to be put in place of a pedestal sink, etc.

I had purchased a deal from Angie's List for 2 hours of Handyman services. I received a call to schedule the service almost immediately and was able to get on the schedule within 10 days. I had four new lighting fixtures that I needed to have installed to replace old outdated fixtures. I didn't think that it would be possible to replace all four in the two hour time period but I had purchased all four so I would be sure to have more than enough work to fill the two hour time slot. Kevin arrived promptly and accomplished all of the work. He consulted with me whenever there were decisions to be made about aiming the lights, etc. to be sure I would be happy with the outcome. After he finished, the areas were clean and he even repaired some holes left in the ceiling where one fixture was removed. This was the second time I used A-Plus for installing lights. I was extremely happy with the results both times and I will continue to call them whenever I have work to be done. I look forward to consulting with them on future projects in the other service areas they provide. I highly recommend A-Plus to anyone looking for outstanding service.

Two individuals showed up on time and went straight to work. They did a really good job and made sure all areas were sealed.
