"Thank you for a great review. We try our hardest to take care of everyone and do it quickly and neatly. Good and bad news. We take credit cards now but we have to charge a processing fee of 3%. The credit card company charges us a percentage of what we charge you every time. Have a good day Karen"
"Thank You for a nice review. We will work on making the quality even better next time. Take care and have a great week Karen"
"I am sorry that I was not able to get to Round Rock quickly. I did call and go out there when you said someone would be home but no one was there. It is hard to get from Oak Hill in ways southwest Austin to Round Rock due to traffic. I always try to put several jobs together so I don't have to spend an hour driving each was for a 2 hour job. Because of the drive time I have to increase the charge a little which I explained and you didn't seem to have a problem with that. I also recommended calling someone closer to you to help with the time factor. It was nice talking to you and meeting your family. I hope all is good and everything is working. Karen Phaup"
"Thank you for giving me a chance to help you out. It was a pleasure meeting you and working with you Karen"
"Thank you so much for taking the time out to review me especially since you didn't even use me. Most people don't even answer the phone if they decide to use someone else. I wish there were more people in this world like you. Thank you again for your time and consideration. If I can ever help you out I will do my best to be there for you for whatever reason. Have a great year!!!! Karen Phaup"
"I hope everything has been working out for you since I've been there. With this cold fronts we've been having I am so glad we got your heater in the greenhouse up and running. I wanted to say thank you for the great review and that it was a real please getting to meet you. I really do care about my customers and you are the type that makes it easy to care. Thank you for hiring me and being so easy to work with. You are greatly appreciated. Have a wonderful year and holler if I can ever help you again. Karen Phaup"
"Hi (removed member name) Glad to hear that you are finally in your house and able to enjoy it a little before the summer is up. Thank you for the work and the positive review. You have been a great guy to work for and if you ever need anything feel free to give me a shout. Have a great winter. Karen"
"Hi [member name removed], I am confused on how you can write such a negative and positive review at the same time which could possibly bring my rating down. We have worked together hanging these same chandeliers many times over the years and each time we hang them we have to find out what height you want them, take out links of chain, shorten the wire, and find the parts to hang them with. A couple of your chandeliers are bigger then I am height wise and twice the width of me. These are not that simple to hang because of all the adjustments and the need for 2 people to be on 1 ladder just to get them hung. New construction is always easier. With your lights It took 2 people to hang them and what makes you think that my helper is not an apprentice, his age? He has been working with me for almost 2 years. He was a carpenter in the past but is now an electrical apprentice. Besides, I would never put anyone on a job that I didn't think would do a good job. That is why you have kept hiring me I thought. In reference to the scheduling, you told me before you went back to Hawaii that you had bought a house and you needed these things done. I told you to call me when you got back which you did. I told you I have been very busy and that I needed to finish up some jobs because school was getting ready to start and people had to get these things done before then. You told me that was no problem that you were not in a hurry. I tried to keep you informed but maybe I didn't do a good enough job. For that I am sorry. I will make it a point to do better for my future customers. Just remember, I always put emergencies first in front of non emergency jobs. Last but not least, the bill. We worked 4 1/2 hrs. I did not charge a trip charge or the $165 / hr that most companies do. I showed up when I said I would when a lot of the companies these days don't and whether or not you thought my helper was licensed should not make a difference. When I go to the doctor and only get to see a nurse practitioner, I get charged the same. As long as the job is done properly it shouldn't matter. In reference to being a long time customer, this is true and I thank you for all the business. This doesn't mean that I am worth less just because I have known you for a while. You don't charge your long term patients less do you? I didn't get a break when I saw you professionally either even though I have known you for a long time. I wouldn't expect to pay less either. Business is business and we all have bills to pay. I am sorry that you feel ripped off. That's the last thing I would want to do. I really have enjoyed getting to know you and think your family is great. I wish you all the best and hope your and your family get settled back into Austin quickly. If I can help you in any way please feel free to call. I hope there are no hard feelings. Sincerely Karen"
"Hi [removed member name], I'm so glad you were able to get it fixed and not have to go broke doing it. I know that I get into situations that I wish someone would just give me suggestions to help me out and I am always grateful for the advise. I figure if some helps me out, I should return the favor and if we all would just give a little then the world would be a happier place. I am here if you ever need me. Thank you for calling me to begin with and thank you for such a nice review. Have a great rest of the summer. Karen"

"It seems that there was a misunderstanding. I talked to your partner on the phone many times giving advice and explaining how to do things. He finally had me go to Spicewood Texas to look at the service you needed because Pedernales Electric told you that you had to install another service and it needed to be done now. I went out there and you and your partner told me about getting a rock saw and where and how you needed to move things out of the way. I was also given a date on when it should be completed. You wanted to get it done within the time limit that the electric company gave you so I gave you my card to give to them in case something happened so you could show that it was going to be taken care of by a licensed electrician. I then sent you an estimate and your partner and I talked on the phone about it. I was told that the price was what he expected and set the date to get it done again. In another conversation your partner started talking about having someone dig the trench and I said that was fine that we could work together. We never talked about a change in price after that because he needed to talk to the other guy and get back to me to confirm but that he would probably dig the trench. At that point I said to let me know when the trench was dug and we could go out there and build the service. I never heard from anyone by the week we had originally set up and I had been sick so the next week I called to see what was up. I wasn't really able to talk much since I was hoarse. This is when I was told that I was never hired and how high my estimate was and other rude things. I mentioned that I had already bought the materials and that I wouldn't have done that if I hadn't been told to do the job. I don't mind someone else doing a job but I would appreciate the courtesy of cancelling with me instead of letting me buy the supplies and leaving me hanging. I felt that the drive to Spicewood Texas for your bid, the time on the phone giving you advice, and the failure to cancel or inform me of the change in job status warrants a bill of some kind since I had spent at least 8 hours of my time dealing with your job not to mention the threat of taking me to court and charging me lawyers’ fees if I didn't take back my invoice for $125. In reference to me costing twice as much as the other person, I don't know what size service he put in or if he was even licensed but my cost included parts for an overhead service, trenching through rock, running pipe and wire from one house to another, disconnecting the illegal power and wire you had powering up the other house and hooking up the new power. It also included the travel time for 3 people to travel about 2 hours just to get to and from Spicewood Texas. I am glad you were able to get someone cheaper and I am sorry that you have so much anger over this issue that you feel you needed to try to ruin someone’s reputation. I never claimed to be the cheapest person but I am not usually the highest either. I have been doing this work for about 30 years and I have seen people do work for almost free just to get the job and the quality of work leaves little to be desired. I can only guarantee that my work is quality work that I stand behind as people who actually use me attest to. Those people’s jobs include such things as hundreds of service upgrades along with kitchen and bathroom remodels, and repairs, not just small jobs. I couldn’t have stayed in business this long just changing light bulb. As people say, “You Get What You Pay For”."
"Hi Member, It was great meeting you and I'm so glad that we were able to clear up you phone problem. I hope all else is working right. Thank you for a great review and I hope you are having a peaceful and loving Christmas holidays. Karen A-One Electric"
