Mr. Abernathy was good to deal with. He met me at the property, looked it all over, looked over the contract, made some changes, and we signed it on the spot. He started work the next day and worked diligently through to completion. He was always available if I needed to talk to him on the phone. I got several bids, and his price was very reasonable compared to what some of the major demolition companies wanted for the job.

After one week the owner of the company called and said he tried to pick up the unit but it was blocked by cars. I told him I needed the dumpster an extra week and was told the charge would be $25/week for extended usage. He told me that 'I was putting him on the spot and he had a lot of people cleaning up after all the rain.' The truck arrived a couple of days later and removed the dumpster. I had the unit for little over a week. I paid $420.11 including $25 for an extra week's rental which I did not receive. Working alone I was able to only partially fill the dumpster which made my value even less. A & A Disposal makes their money on the delivery and pickup of a limited number of units. I believe they have no interest in letting customers keep the dumpsters for any extended period of time. The other company itemizes all costs with usage charged at a rate of $5 per day, a much better way to rent. Pay for what you get and get what you pay for is always the better deal.

The service was great--I would definitely rent from them again. I called the company and spoke to the owner (I can't remember his name), and he was here with the dumpster 45 minutes later. The rental was originally for 1 week (for about $335), but I called and told him I wasn't done yet, so I rented for another week (for $25). The owner was very friendly and seemed unconcerned about counting pennies--I think I got an extra couple days out of them because we had a bad ice storm.
