RHINO OVERHEAD DOOR

Clint texted me to introduce himself and ask for good times to come by, and they were able to come out the next day (wow)! Within an hour, Clint & Ryan replaced my garage door panels and hardware. I was a little sad that I didn't get to pick a different color (going through insurance means replacing like for like, of course), but the "almond" color they had to use turned out beautifully... not grungy and yellowed like my old garage door! Really spruces up the garage, and everything is nicely oiled and runs quieter thanks to the new hardware!

Ryan is awesome!  He has serviced the garage door systems of several our personal and investment properties and does an excellent job every time.  His prices are very reasonable and he is a very honest guy.  On this most recent occasion, we had a broken tension spring and we scheduled same-day service.  Ryan called about 30 minutes prior to say he was on his way and arrived right on time.  He quickly went to work replacing the broken spring and re-attaching a disconnected lift cable.  Then he inspected the entire garage door system and greased some of the internal gears as well.
Ryan is very good at what he does, reliable, and super honest.  He'll never try to sell you anything you don't need and gives you various remedy options if you do need something repaired.  Ryan is definitely our go-to guy for all things garage door related!

I live in Providence Village so he was close by.  This was an absolutely perfect business experience. The owner, Ryan, has had many years of experience and he truly goes the extra mile. I had one remote control that didn?t work and another one that worked with only multiple tries. Ryan told me there would be an upfront charge of $35. He scheduled me immediately, called 15 minutes in advance and arrived at my house right on time. He checked the power on both of my remotes. One remote was fixed with a new battery which he said he would include in the $35 charge. The other remote had technical problems. He offered to order a new replacement but I decided to wait since I needed only one remote. On his own good will, free of charge, he checked my very noisy overhead door. He lubricated all the moving parts and made an adjustment so that my door opens and closes quietly. I paid $35 with a credit card and received a very nice email confirmation. Very, very professional. I give him an A+ in everything. Nice man.

Ryan with Rhino Overhead doors responded promptly to an email I sent thru Angie's list.  He came out same day, gave me an estimate for work needed and gave me options for the repairs which I really appreciated. We decided on the best option and he came out the next day and did the work.  It is all done and I am very satisfied with the work and would definitely recommend Rhino.

I called Rhino after another provider never showed to provide an estimate. Ryan arrived as scheduled to check out the door needing an opener. We agreed upon the price and scheduled the work to be performed. He arrived on schedule and completed the work to my satisfaction. I will use Ryan in the future for maintenance of both garage doors.

Ryan was able to schedule all work the same day I called.  He gave a cheaper alternative to the things that were done.  We had been having trouble with the garage door for so long, that I wanted to make sure we didn't have to fix anything for a while so requested the new motor.
He explained everything thoroughly and made sure that I knew all of the options.  While I don't anticipate any issues for a long time, I will definitely call Ryan the next time we do have a problem.

I originally scheduled for a Wednesday, but texted him on Monday morning to see if we could move up the appointment to same day due to the forecast.  He moved some things around and was able to accommodate my request.  He arrived at the appointed time, and was able to perform the original work, replacing two panels, in about an hour.  Got everything completed, and right before he was leaving, the main spring broke, which was a cheap spring about 7 years old.  So out came the tools again, and he changed that out in about 20 mins.  Very happy with the job performed.

  When I called and explained what my door was doing,  he fit me in that day.  Called ahead   to confirm and was able to come a bit early.  Very professional and polite!  Assessed the problems and explained everything well.  He was able to do the repairs right then.  My door works like new!  I had been pricing new garage door openers and parts, I was very happy with the cost and I will call no one else for my garage door needs in the future!  I will recommend them to neighbors and friends!

I called Ryan at Rhino Overhead Door, because it took several times to shut the garage door every time we closed it. He answered the phone the first time I called him. I asked him if he could come on a Saturday, which was no problem at all. I told him that I needed a tune-up no matter what. He said that he would give me an estimate, if any other problems were found. He called me 10-15 minutes before he arrived, as a courtesy. He advised us that the spring the builder installed when our home was built had broke. He said he would go ahead and perform the tune-up, and we could decide if we wanted to fix the spring today. There was absolutely no pressure to fix anything. My husband and I decided that it needed to be fixed, so Ryan went to get the materials to fix it. He was very quick getting the materials, like he said he would be. We had a torque master to torsion spring conversion. Since we had the conversion done, he threw in new rollers and tuned it up for free. Also, he educated us on how to properly maintenance our garage door. Ryan is a very professional, honest, and no-pressure guy. I highly recommend him! I know who I will call, if any other issues ever arise!

Ryan was very professional. He gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way. He arrived on time as scheduled. He gave me thorough information to make my repair decision. I didn't feel pressured to purchase something I didn't need. I also felt very comfortable he was giving me truthful information and that he was trustworthy. His pricing is very reasonable and a good value. It was refreshing to have an encounter with a considerate, honest service provider. Ryan showed up when he said he was going to, repaired the door and has since also worked on several of our rental properties. We will continue to use Rhino on all our properties.

 He trouble shot the opener and discovered that the memory board was the problem. He presented me with 3 options...replace the memory board, replace the opener or install a new transmitter. I chose the least expensive option of the transmitter. He installed the transmitter and  programmed the remotes. Additionally, he went above and beyond and did a complete tune up on the garage door. to include tightening all bolts and lubricating all rollers. I highly recommend RHINO Overhead  Door Co.

Our situation may not appear to be an emergency to most but for us it was.  My husband is in a PhD program at UTD and his class starts at 4 p.m.  It was almost 3 p.m and when he tried to raise the garage door to leave it wouldn't budge.  The motor ran and ran but the door wouldn't go up.  We tried to lift it manually and could only get it about a foot up.  The first repair company I called wanted all of my information before they would even tell me a time someone could get to our house.  When I told the person (answering service for the actual repairmen) we needed this done ASAP, he then said it would be between 6-8 p.m.  I then found Rhino Overhead Door and called.  Ryan assisted in getting our door opened before he even arrived.  He told me he was on his way and arrived in under 30 minutes.  He did a thorough inspection and advised what needed to be done.  We had one broken spring and even though the second spring was intact, he explained that it would be best to replace it.  He did not pressure me or try to oversell any services.  He pointed out that some of our bearings were loose, making marks on the metal which was further grinding them down, and making noise.  He gave me the price to replace all 10 but also said that they would probably last another 3 years give or take and we would be okay to leave them for now.  After replacing the two springs, he tightened up all the bolts on all the hinges, lubricated the new springs, hinges, and bearings and tested the door several times to be sure it would function.  He told me how often we needed to lubricate everything and what to watch out for as an indicator if the bearings were getting worse.  He was professional, friendly and even allowed me to post date a check for one week as my direct deposit would not take place until next week and he understood that I needed my money for an out of town trip this weekend as well as auto debits coming out this week for bills.  I would recommend Ryan and Rhino over any other garage door service company.  Prompt, professional, ethical, honest and just a decent guy and business owner.
