Longterm Care - Assisted Living
Clothing went missing. Even the new clothes provided went missing and our family member was naked in his bed with no clothes. Tried to use a laundry bag to take home and clean but that went missing too. Cigarettes went missing. For every three packs provided, 2 went missing. Mobile phones went missing. Three mobile phones went unaccounted for and the last one had call activity and internet use for weeks after it went missing. Even with initials and name on everything, it would just go missing. Calls and letters submitted to complain and seek help/results went unanswered. Nurse call button in the room needed to be fixed, but couldn't get it fixed without extra effort. Same with the lighting. Overall patient care was pretty good and the nurses put up with a lot from the patients. The facility allows smoking and our relative appreciated that
