We are having large trees planted in our yard in a recently purchased home. My thought was that the main sewer line went to the alley in the backyard and wanted to have it marked so we would not hit any utility lines during planting. Turns out I was wrong and the line goes out to the side yard so it will not be an issue.
I called Tri-Star two days prior to trees going in, although they were booked they squeezed me into the schedule and marked my utilities. Couldn't find the gas line because it was pvc not metal and no locator wire attached to the line, however the possibility that the gas line may not be located was explained to me up front, even prior to me booking the appointment. So this was not a surprise. Based on his experience, he pointed out the most probable route and gave me some tips on digging around it, which was helpful.
Overall, Tri-Star was professional, flexible to my timeline, and performed the services I requested.

Tri Star was recommended by another plumber since that plumber needed someone to locate any leak(s) before giving me an estimate of the cost of repairs. Tri Star was very accommodating, courteous and punctual. They did not find evidence of a leak or problems with sewer pipes. They did find an unidentified pipe entering the sewer line that he recommended I have a plumber investigate.
