TOP CUT MOWER REPAIR

Excellent. Top Cut deserves its high ratings. They checked with me about all repair work that needed to be done and the costs. Fixed the axle, strut and bearing assemblies. This lawn tractor also has an oil drain plug that is difficult to get to and use without getting oil everywhere. Top Cut added a connector that will make changing the oil very easy and prevent oil spillage. Really appreciated that extra effort. Excellent company with folks who know their business about mowers and lawn tractors. I recommend them without reservation.

I paid a diagnostic fee of $20 which would apply to the services I wanted: replace blades and pull cord and perform tune. They evaluated the mower and said it was not worth fixing due to engine scoring and carburator problems. Good advice for old mower.

Everything went well. The lawnmower was repaired when they promised and the lawnmower is working fine.

Everybody there was friendly, the service I had done on both equipments just took a week to fix. They were very helpful and honest! I drove over 50 miles to come here and I will do it again! Great place!!!

Part of this cost was due to parts the other company had left off. I appreciate the honesty and integrity that topcoat mowers serviced me with.

Mow was running rough and stopped repeatedly, and finally stop.  Checked a Angies list for repair shop - likd the reviews.  Took the mower same day I called. (late in the day)  Picked it up next day.  Mowed grass same day.

The proprietor explained clearly the fee for checking the mower, which would be applied to the bill if repairs were made, explained that they would call if the bill were to be above $100, and they would call when ready.  All of this was done to my complete satisfaction, which was cheaper and much quicker than the mower service I had used in the past.  They even helped me load the push mower into the back of my Tahoe. I'm definitely coming back.

I dropped off the mower on a Saturday with the instructions that it wouldn't start.  A few days later I received a phone call that the mower was ready to be picked up.  Gummed up carburetor cleaned, spark plug changed, etc.  I picked up the mower the following Saturday.  It runs like a champ again!  Great service, very nice people.  Will definitely recommend to others!

On the day they told me it would be fixed, they called to say it was ready.  I went in to get it and they explained to me that I had run over a piece of wood, which caused the self-propelled belt to come off, and some screws to fall off.  They told me they contacted Lawn-Boy, explained the problem, told me that this model had had previous problems with the screws, that they got approval from Lawn-Boy and the mower was fixed at no charge.
I understand that I should probably be writing about Lawn-Boy, except this is the 3rd place I took the mower to - the first being where I purchased it, per Lawn-Boy instructions.  That place told me the charge would be almost what I paid for the lawnmower, over $200.
The 2nd place told me the charge would be almost $175
So imagine my surprise when I brought in my wallet and the lady stopped and told me what caused the problem, how to avoid it in the future, to call them if i had any problems and then told me the cost to me was nothing.
The two people working there were so professional, so nice, and so helpful, I can see why there were a lot of people using them.  I will recommend them to all my neighbors.

REPAIR WAS COMPLETED WHEN HE TOLD ME IT WOULD BE. THE REPAIR MAN WAS POLITE AND VERY PROFESSIONAL. HE WAS THOROUGH IN EXPLAINING WHAT WAS REPAIRED AND HOW TO PREVENT FUTURE PROBLEMS.
